How to Set Up the New Twitter Profile Page. Earlier this week Twitter made some changes to the profile page design. You can now express yourself with a beautiful header-photo that appears above your tweets. This photo can be uploaded on mobile apps for iPad, iPhone and Android or twitter.com, and the same image will appear whenever anyone views your profile on the web or with these apps.

swipe through the photos and
tap any that you’d like to see
fullscreen.

6. What Is Twitter?
Not only will you have this new header
photo you will also still have an
additional photo – a background photo
on twitter.com. Upload a background
image to compliment your header and
profile photos. You can opt for a simple
background pattern or choose a fun
graphic to showcase your page.
Want to get started with these changes

immediately obvious when you log in
but it’s simple to set up.

7. Get Started
To get started log into your Twitter
account and click the gear icon on the top
right. Once you do this select Settings
from the drop down menu. Then on the
left hand navigation click design.

8. Customize
Next scroll down to the ‘customize
your own’ section. Here you can
change both the header image
and your background image. Note
the image size requirements for
the header: the minimum
dimensions are 1252x626, and
the maximum file size is 5MB. You
can then upload your header and
drag and scale until it’s just right.
