11 Types of Essay
в†ђ EDITORIAL ESSAY Car has become a basic necessity for everyone these days. There are
many people who are simply crazy about cars. An essay on car is a very interesting thing to do.
One can write a lot about a car in an essay. An essay on car mentions the different kinds of cars, its
basic utility, different features of car, etc. There are many people who have very vague
knowledge about the cars but still are interested in spending money on buying cars. It is quite
unusual to write an essay on cars but it is something different that one can do. You too can write
an essay on cars. There are a lot many things that can be written on cars. An essay on car can be

In college, I studied illustrated books from an academic standpoint. I went to Vassar, where
children's book writer Nancy Willard was on faculty. She introduced me to illustrator Barry Moser,
and the interview he gave me was the centerpiece of my senior thesis. While I was there, I spent
three years as a student assistant in Vassar's lab pre–school, and after graduation found work as an
assistant teacher in a Montessori school, teaching 6–9 year olds. That year, I began to write a novel
with my father – through the mail. I was in Chicago and he was in New York. We thought it would
be a fun way to keep in touch. I wrote a chapter – then he wrote a chapter. We rewrote each other's
chapters. And rewrote them again. It took a long time, but eventually that story was published as
The Secret Life of Billie's Uncle Myron. Now I write full time (except when parenting) in a
beautiful office in Brooklyn, accompanied by two plump and ancient cats –– the models for the dog
characters in That New Animal. Here's a picture of my neighborhood, done by Lauren Castillo for

been two different sides of the very same coin. Initially, these two terms were considered to be
completely irrelevant and sometimes even as a contraposition to each other. Along with the progress
came the understanding that the connection does exist and even more than that – in some way these

Different Types of Lies Essay
"To lie is to state something that one knows to be false or that one does not honestly believe to be
true with the intention that a person will take it for the truth". (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie) In
other words, lying is a purposeful misleading statement. This statement can be made verbally,
through body language, or even implied through silence. Based on lying being well defined, some
might say that lying is always wrong unless there is a good reason for it. In that case, I would argue
that lying is not always wrong.
There are two different types of lies. The first types of lies are called true falsehoods. These types of
lies are always wrong. The only purpose for telling this type of lie is for one's self interest or...show

For example: A young girl is driving to the beach with her new boyfriend, they are alone, when
suddenly she feels very uncomfortable and unsafe being alone with this boy. She decides she
wants to go back home, yet she knows that her boyfriend is going to be upset if she tells him the
truth. So instead she decides to tell him that she remembered something she had promised her mom
she would do for her before she got home from work. She knows later on, when she is in a more
controlled environment, that she will tell this boy the truth because she knows he needs to know.
Another simpler yet common example would be misrepresentations of the truth in responding to
the question "How are you doing?" A person's answer would depend on the relationship that they
have with that person. A relationship that is not close at all would most likely bring a response
that would be short and on a positive note like, "everything is fine," even if it was not true. This
response would be given to that person because it may not be appropriate or a good idea to let them
know otherwise.
Another example would be a police officer during a sting operation. Is it correct for her to pose as
a prostitute in order to catch actual prostitutes? This would be considered a lie based on the fact that
the officer is intentionally trying to come across as something other than she really is. It would be

Ever wondered how many ways there is to write an essay? What type of writing is needed to use
for certain things? Writing is used today and sense way back in history for everything.
Writing is used to remember things, for scripts like movies, to inform, even to plan things. Essays
can be written in Persuasive, Expository, Analytical, and Argumentative. To start out Persuasive is an
essay where you try to convince the reader or listener to adopt your position on an issue or point of
view. Here your rationale, your argument, is most important. You are presenting an opinion and
trying to persuade readers, you want to win readers over to your point of view. In this type of writing
a key point will be maintaining the reader's interest and showing...show more content...
In this type of essay the early on passage is utilized to tell the pursuer what content or messages
you will be talking about. Each abstract work raises no less than one noteworthy issue. In your
presentation you will likewise characterize the thought or issue of the content that you wish to look
at in your examination. It is vital that you contract the center of your essay. Be all around sorted
out. Arrangement what you need to compose before you begin. It is a smart thought to know
precisely what your decision will be before you begin to compose. When you know where you are
going, you have a tendency to arrive in a very much sorted out route with coherent movement.
Argumentative Essay is the kind of exposition where you demonstrate that your supposition,
hypothesis or speculation around an issue is right or more honest than those of others. To put it
plainly, it is fundamentally the same to the persuasive essay, but the distinction is that you are
contending for your assessment instead of others, as opposed to specifically attempting to induce
somebody to receive your perspective. Research your topic so your evidence is convincing. This
argument essay should be very detailed and convincing in pros and

Two Different kinds of Marriage Essay
If we talk about marriage, what comes on your mind? Marriage is a union between a man and
woman, particularly regulated by law in which they become a husband and wife. Selecting a
husband and wife is one of the most important decisions of a person's life because a marriage can
bring either a happy or unhappy life. Choosing the best partner is one of the key to get a happy
marriage. Talking about partners, which one do you prefer to marry, the person whom you love or
arranged marriage, that is, your parents will choose your partner? For some people they may
choose to get married with the person whom they love, which is love marriage. Actually, there are
two kinds of marriage that are love marriage and arranged marriage. Arranged marriage is...show

These reasons might lead people believe that an arranged marriage will give bad impact to the
child's spouse, but there is some evidence that choosing arranged marriage has positive results.
Opponents of arranged marriages claim that arranged marriages take away the freedom of choice
to the couple. They argue that there will be a lot of pressure of their child to agree with their
parents' expectation. It also leads a question that if the family really loves their daughter, why
they would not allow their daughter makes her own decision? How she can marry with someone
she does not know? However, by doing arranged marriages, it can avoid bad experience before
married. It is because arranged marriages give more security for the woman (Sam, 2012). In an
arranged marriage, the couples do not meet until the wedding date. The parents still control both of
them. Even for some cases, they will talk together about their marriage with the parents also. They
will not be allowed to do more intimate activities before marriage, for example, dating.
Moreover, from Islamic culture point of view, arranged marriages in Islam is the best way in
choosing one's partner because it is not allowed when a woman and man loves each other before
marriage. It is because Islam does not want the couples are involved in anything sinful ( Arab
News. Marriage: Arranged Marriages and Personal Choices [dialogue]). In Western culture, people
tend to have love before marriage. They will do lot

Compare And Contrast Mla And Apa
Also, many professors only teach us MLA style, but this class can teach us two types of essay,
MLA and APA. I think that's great because APA also is popular, it's useful for us to know these
two types of essays. And from this class, I also learned that when we are writing causal
assignment, the most important reason should list at the last of all reasons rather than at the first
position. At last, I have some suggestions about REVEL. I tried to do the quiz on the revel but the
website said the quiz has not been assigned. However, I used it on my society class in the first
semester. So I have some thoughts about it. Frankly, I don't think revel suits for our class, especially
the quiz. The quiz always focuses on the contents in the text book,

Types of Friends Essay
There are a lot of important things in life. However, one of the most important things for people
to survive in this world is friendship. Without friendship, people can die of loneliness. What do
you think about your friends? Do you like your friends? There are a lot of different types of
friends. There are friends that I like and some friends with whom I do not get along. Friends with
positive characteristics such as reliable, trustworthy and faithful whom I usually get along with are
the one that tend to have more friends and the negative one whom I usually not get along with tend
to be alone. However, friends with negative characteristic can also give us some good examples of

They can learn to get some confidence because confidence is really important in order to perform
better. Being an overconfident person is also beneficial, as we won't get nervous easily and our
performances will be better. This kind of person isn't scared to take some risks as they have trust
and confidence in themselves. This kind of person has potential to be a really successful person in
the future. I have a friend that is really confident that when he performed for a speech competition at
school, he can speak fluently without any hesitation that made him the winner of the competition.
We can learn a lot from this kind of person. I learn that correct proportion of something, even the
thing we take as something bad, before, can turn into something good. We have to be able to
measure how confident we can be while with friends and when the confidence is really needed.
Being a competitive person can be advantageous, as this kind of person wants to be the best in
everything. As they want to be the best in everything, they will work and study harder than any
other people. They will try as hard as they can to be the best. As a result, they will get good marks
on test or get an extremely good job in the future. It is beneficial for them. For Example: I know
that being a competitive person can be advantageous as I have a friend that is competitive. She is
so competitive that in every test, she will study as hard as she can. In every test, she managed to get

Attachment Styles Case Study
How do you believe these differing types of attachment styles could impact long term development?
Attachment measure how much trust the child has to their parents or caregivers and if they don't
have any attachment to them it can affect their overall personality they can have low self esteem or
it can also afrect their academic because they don't know if theres somebody who they can turn to if
they face adversity.
2) What parenting style do you believe is most prevalent currently? How do you believe this
parenting style impacts emotional and psychological development?
In my country authoritarian parenting is the most common. We are raised like an army and though
its not fun all the time but it makes us more matured and respectful because

What Is The Difference Between Apa And MLA Format
APA and MLA formats both are different in a lot of aspects. MLA, what I have always used
throughout high school, is usually used in English. Theatre, or Art. While APA is typically used
for Psychology, Sociology, or Social work. APA and MLA's citation both differ by how to put
your name, what they call it, and where to put the page number. In APA format the page to cite
sources at the end of the work is called "references", while MLA format is called "works cited".
When information is being cited and the authors name is in a sentence, you need to place the year
the material was published in parenthesis after the authors name if you are using

Types of Vacations
Vacations are a time we use to recharge our batteries. A time to spend with the ones you love and
build lifelong memories. There are many different options to consider when choosing where and
how to vacation. Everyone has different things they consider enjoyable or relaxing. In this essay I
will discuss different types of vacations and point out some benefits of each. Some people enjoy
vacationing at the beach. The warm climate is one of the biggest selling points when deciding on a
beach vacation. You can enjoy warm weather activities like swimming picnicking or volleyball. Or
you can just completely relax. Lay out in the sand with your feet in the water and a cold beverage,
soaking up the sunshine. Beach vacations are usually...show more content...
People with this mentality would probably be more interested in the theme park or sightseeing
vacations. There are lots of things to do. The days are action packed with little or no down time.
Once you finish one thing, there are a hundred other things to do next. I personally prefer a mix
of the two. I usually like staying busy. I will get bored easily and feel like I'm wasting time if I
don't have something to do. But I don't like to feel tied down. If I spontaneously decide I want to
go do something else, I like to have that option. My grandmother on the other hand is the master
of doing nothing on vacation. A few times a year she rents a beach house or condo on the water,
then she spends the entire week inside, sitting on the couch reading books. I don't know why she
insists that she be near the water, when she will never even step outside once to look at the water.
But it's what she likes to do. And that's the whole point of vacation, getting some time that is just for
you. Whether you enjoy beaches or mountains, whether you want to chill or go on an adventure, a
vacation is a time for you to do what makes you happy. The purpose of this essay was to explore the
different styles of vacations with the thought of matching them to your

The Different Types of Media Essay
The Different Types of Media
I think that all different types of media have lots of different influences on society, especially
individuals. There is an enormous variety of media including; television, newspapers, radio,
magazines, advertisements etc. It seems that the more developed that society gets, the harder it
becomes to escape media. One of the most common forms of media is advertisements.
Advertisements are not only one of the most common forms of media but also one of the most
over–exposed types of media there is. This is because advertisements appear in every single type of
other media there is, therefore making advertisements are an essential way for people to 'advertise',

From soaps, like Coronation Street, to documentaries, like a day to remember, there's something for
all ages and makes it hard for people not to get infected by this contagious disease. Some people
might argue that television is a waste of time that could be better spent or that it displaces the brain
of useful information, when in fact these people are mistaken. With televisions powerful
documentaries it encourages everyone to take an interest in something and to learn about a passion
or maybe teach them how to carry out a dream. Television actually develops and nurtures the mind.
Even soaps have a secret hidden agenda of teaching the viewer about topics some people are too
scared to talk about or confront. For example a recent storyline in Coronation Street about an
emotional violent relationship shows that just because someone doesn't show bruises doesn't mean
they aren't in a abusive relationship. Soaps also feature stories of transvestites, child abductions,
murders, child neglect etc. putting these on a television screen educates people about everyday
things that other people believe shouldn't be discussed.
Radio is another form of media, however it's less extreme. Radio generally reaches out to the
younger generation with popular radio stations, like Galaxy 102 and Key 103, they feature what is
known as popular music, dance and R'n'B. it encourages

The Governments: The Three Types Of Government
Governments
A government is a group of people who govern or manage a city or state. Governments are usually
related to the word 'corruption' no matter what type of government it is. The three types of
governments that are widely known and are the most popular are Monarchy, dictatorship, and
democracy. These three forms ofgovernment can either be good or bad depending on the group of
people who govern the city or state. In my opinion; however, I believe that the ideal government for
Iraq would be a democracy. It's important, though, to know the characteristics of the three types of
governments without straight up finding a government corrupted.
A monarchy is a form of government where a monarch is ruling and usually, they are referred to as
a king or queen. Also, a monarchy is hereditary. In history, the ancient Egyptians saw their monarchs
as gods. Beginning in 1500, many European monarchs claimed that their power came from gods;
also known as the divine right of kings. The World War I ended many important monarchies;
however, there are still 26 monarchies around the world some of which are the United Kingdom,
Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, Morocco, Jordan, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Swaziland.
One of the cons of a monarchy...show more content...
A dictatorship is a form of government where a dictator is ruling usually with full authority and
force. A dictatorship, in my opinion, is one of the harshest types of government because most of
the time there is barely any freedom and the dictator rules by force. A dictator is usually elected
when the government is in its democracy form and at that point, they are referred to as a president.
However, they start prohibiting opposing organizations and canceling free elections. A dictator is
basically the government where he or she acts as a whole for the entire political

Types and Forms of Communication
Having appreciated the importance of communication in different contexts, it is imperative to
understand the different forms or categories of communication, in which people engage in. This is
because these different forms of communication demand unique sets of skills or tactics.
Oral Communication: this involves exchange of messages or information using spoken words and is
commonly referred to as communication by word of mouth. This occurs in different interaction set
ups such as meetings, talks, discussions, presentations, interviews, speeches and so on.

dual sports. It is played by two people at one time. For example: tennis, squash, ping pong, wrestling,
car racing, board games, motorcycling, and many more. These games are good for all the people, but
especially good for those people who are afraid of facing group of people during game and cannot

Essay on Types Of Research
Research is done everyday. Research is used in the many different situations managers encounter
everyday. Research is part of the problem–solving manager do to make decisions. Research is
defined as "the process of finding solutions to problem after thorough study and analysis of the
situational factor" (Sekaran, p3, 2003). Managers use research for daily operational problem as well
as bigger problems that can require hired research consultants. Managers who use research are able
to communicate with the hired consultants because they understand the process of inquiry,

Applied research is "aimed at solving a currently experienced problem" (Sekaran, p10, 2003). This
research can be as simple as finding solutions to daily operational problems.
One problem managers consistently want research on is the relationship between customer
satisfaction and loyalty. The research found on the relationship of customer satisfaction and loyalty
spans over the past decade. Many researchers argue that there is no relationship between customer
satisfaction and loyalty while others find direct correlations between the two and a business's
profitability. In Roger Hadowell's study, he defines loyalty as both behavioral and attitude while
conducting his research on a banking organization. He states that behaviors including continuance,
increased relationship, and recommendations are all behaviors of loyalty to an organization
(Hadowell, 1996). His research illustrates the "relationship of profitability to customer related
outcomes that managers can influence directly" (Hadowell, 1996). His findings support the
hypothesis that customer satisfaction influences customer loyalty increasing profitability. Hadowell
addresses two difficulties that he encountered during his research. First, work with the organization
in order to develop the ideal measurement system used for the research. Secondly, focus on data
collected over a period of time with strong organizations (Hadowell, 1996).

Writing Strengths And Weaknesses
On November 21, 2017 I made the biggest mistake in my academic career. I turned in a crap essay
to a college level class. I received a "B" and that is the lowest I have ever scored on an essay. This
experience has taught me a lot though, it showed me my strengths and weaknesses when writing. I
have learned that my writing is best when I am motivated because I am intrigued by the topic I am
writing about. On the other hand my writing is the worst when it is rushed, like my
"Transcendentalism and American Romanticism"essay. My writing also takes a hit because I have a
hard time changing my writing based on others suggestions and my ignorance to commas.

What Kind Of Student I Am
I have an idea about what kind of student I am. Over the years, I have realized that when I'm not
interested or I feel like I'm not learning/understanding the material, I unconsciously withdraw. I'm
already not a studier so paying attention 100 percent is crucial to my grade. I am very
hardworking and can apply myself to fullest, the problem is I need to learn to apply myself even
more when I'm in need of help, instead of retracting. Unfortunately, sometimes I am also a
procrastinator, but it depends on what and how much the work it is. I can say that I am a very
organized student/person. I color code my notes, make lists, and even set up timers to split my time
accordingly. I am very interested to take some assessments to learn more about myself, and possibly
make some changes. The first assessment I took was the Study Skills Assessment. For Time
Management I got a 14 out of 32. I was a little surprised because I do think I manage my time well.
Although I do get distracted easily with technology and I don't prioritize very efficiently, which
makes sense on why I would score low. For Concentration/Memory I scored a 20 out of 32, which I
think is accurate. I got a fair score, but it could be better. In the Note–Taking section I got a 27 out of
32. I wasn't shocked at all, I usually like taking notes and I've realized which strategies work for me
and which don't. For Test Strategies I received a 23 out of 32. I was a little taken aback, I thought I
would've scored lower.

The Four Types of Paragraphs
THE FOUR TYPES OF PARAGRAPHS (With Examples)
There are four types of paragraphs we write. They include: narrative, informative, descriptive, and
persuasive. All paragraphs have certain elements, but the four types are also different from one
another in how they are composed. Look at the outline about paragraphs in general.
All paragraphs:
1. It has a strong beginning, or introduction sentence, which states the main idea clearly.
2. It has several supporting sentences which make up the body, and support the main idea. All
sentences in the supporting details should back up, or point to, that main idea. The details should be
strong and vivid. The sentence structure and length should vary.
3. It has a strong concluding...show more content...
All that was left was the bathroom and my bedroom. I snuck into the bedroom, wielding the sharp
knife in terror, and bent over to look under the bed. No one was there. I silently released my
breath and turned toward the closet. I opened the closet carefully and switched on the light.
Again, no one was there. I had one place left to look: the bathroom. This was probably the hardest
place, because I had seen too many movies where someone was hiding in the shower. Nonetheless,
I crept into the tiny bathroom and flipped on the light switch. The navy blue shower curtain hung
there concealing whatever fate lay before me. I reached my hand out toward the curtain, paused a
moment, steeling myself and summoning the last of my courage, and committed myself to the
search. I grabbed the edge of the curtain and whipped it back in a flash, preparing myself to use
the knife on the fiend hiding in there. I trembled as the knife dropped out of my hand. No one
was there. Relief flooded me so strongly that I nearly crumpled to the floor. Later, after I had
called my boyfriend back, he remembered that he had gone by the apartment while I was gone and
dropped off a book I was reading. I had forgotten that he had a key. He had forgotten he'd been there
and closed the door. That was one wild homecoming!

Types of Competition
Economic theory usually differentiates across the four major types of market structure: monopoly,
oligopoly, monopolistic competition, and perfect competition. Although the list of market structures
can be virtually unlimited, these four types are considered to be the basis for understanding the
principles of market performance in different market conditions. Each of the four types of market
structures possesses its benefits and drawbacks. In any of these markets, an entrepreneur can develop
a strategy appropriate for conquering a part of the market niche. Although for many entrepreneurs
monopoly seems an excellent choice (no competitors and full control over the product and its price),
in reality it is monopolistic competition that...show more content...
In perfect competition, no barriers to entry or exit exist, and firms are free to move across their
markets. Certainly, perfect competition seems a perfect choice for customers, while monopoly will
seem like a perfect choice for entrepreneurs – no competition, full price control, and full control over
the product assortment. However, as an entrepreneur, I would rather choose monopolistic
competition. My choice is justified by several reasons. Fist of all, monopoly prevents
entrepreneurs from entering the market, while monopolistic competition markets are free for entry,
and as an entrepreneur I may enter any market I deem appropriate and effective in terms of
maximizing my profits. Second, monopoly does give some control over prices and product
assortment, but in the current world, customers always seek to diversify the range of products they
use. Monopoly does not leave any chance for differentiation, and as an entrepreneur I will always
want to have several different products that will be sold to several different groups of consumers.
Finally, it is due to the fact that competition drives innovation and gives me sufficient stimuli for
growth that I can make my business grow. As such, in conditions of monopolistic competition I may
have fewer opportunities for maximizing my profits for the sake of full control over prices and
assortment, but I am more confident that my business will grow for the account of better customer
satisfaction

  • 1. 11 Types of Essay в†ђ EDITORIAL ESSAY Car has become a basic necessity for everyone these days. There are many people who are simply crazy about cars. An essay on car is a very interesting thing to do. One can write a lot about a car in an essay. An essay on car mentions the different kinds of cars, its basic utility, different features of car, etc. There are many people who have very vague knowledge about the cars but still are interested in spending money on buying cars. It is quite unusual to write an essay on cars but it is something different that one can do. You too can write an essay on cars. There are a lot many things that can be written on cars. An essay on car can be very informative and requires proper knowledge. The writer has to do proper...show more content... In college, I studied illustrated books from an academic standpoint. I went to Vassar, where children's book writer Nancy Willard was on faculty. She introduced me to illustrator Barry Moser, and the interview he gave me was the centerpiece of my senior thesis. While I was there, I spent three years as a student assistant in Vassar's lab pre–school, and after graduation found work as an assistant teacher in a Montessori school, teaching 6–9 year olds. That year, I began to write a novel with my father – through the mail. I was in Chicago and he was in New York. We thought it would be a fun way to keep in touch. I wrote a chapter – then he wrote a chapter. We rewrote each other's chapters. And rewrote them again. It took a long time, but eventually that story was published as The Secret Life of Billie's Uncle Myron. Now I write full time (except when parenting) in a beautiful office in Brooklyn, accompanied by two plump and ancient cats –– the models for the dog characters in That New Animal. Here's a picture of my neighborhood, done by Lauren Castillo for our book в†ђ CRITICAL ESSAY Science and Art Essay Throughout the ages science and art have been two different sides of the very same coin. Initially, these two terms were considered to be completely irrelevant and sometimes even as a contraposition to each other. Along with the progress came the understanding that the connection does exist and even more than that – in some way these Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 2. Different Types of Lies Essay "To lie is to state something that one knows to be false or that one does not honestly believe to be true with the intention that a person will take it for the truth". (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lie) In other words, lying is a purposeful misleading statement. This statement can be made verbally, through body language, or even implied through silence. Based on lying being well defined, some might say that lying is always wrong unless there is a good reason for it. In that case, I would argue that lying is not always wrong. There are two different types of lies. The first types of lies are called true falsehoods. These types of lies are always wrong. The only purpose for telling this type of lie is for one's self interest or...show more content... For example: A young girl is driving to the beach with her new boyfriend, they are alone, when suddenly she feels very uncomfortable and unsafe being alone with this boy. She decides she wants to go back home, yet she knows that her boyfriend is going to be upset if she tells him the truth. So instead she decides to tell him that she remembered something she had promised her mom she would do for her before she got home from work. She knows later on, when she is in a more controlled environment, that she will tell this boy the truth because she knows he needs to know. Another simpler yet common example would be misrepresentations of the truth in responding to the question "How are you doing?" A person's answer would depend on the relationship that they have with that person. A relationship that is not close at all would most likely bring a response that would be short and on a positive note like, "everything is fine," even if it was not true. This response would be given to that person because it may not be appropriate or a good idea to let them know otherwise. Another example would be a police officer during a sting operation. Is it correct for her to pose as a prostitute in order to catch actual prostitutes? This would be considered a lie based on the fact that the officer is intentionally trying to come across as something other than she really is. It would be Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 3. Ever wondered how many ways there is to write an essay? What type of writing is needed to use for certain things? Writing is used today and sense way back in history for everything. Writing is used to remember things, for scripts like movies, to inform, even to plan things. Essays can be written in Persuasive, Expository, Analytical, and Argumentative. To start out Persuasive is an essay where you try to convince the reader or listener to adopt your position on an issue or point of view. Here your rationale, your argument, is most important. You are presenting an opinion and trying to persuade readers, you want to win readers over to your point of view. In this type of writing a key point will be maintaining the reader's interest and showing...show more content... In this type of essay the early on passage is utilized to tell the pursuer what content or messages you will be talking about. Each abstract work raises no less than one noteworthy issue. In your presentation you will likewise characterize the thought or issue of the content that you wish to look at in your examination. It is vital that you contract the center of your essay. Be all around sorted out. Arrangement what you need to compose before you begin. It is a smart thought to know precisely what your decision will be before you begin to compose. When you know where you are going, you have a tendency to arrive in a very much sorted out route with coherent movement. Argumentative Essay is the kind of exposition where you demonstrate that your supposition, hypothesis or speculation around an issue is right or more honest than those of others. To put it plainly, it is fundamentally the same to the persuasive essay, but the distinction is that you are contending for your assessment instead of others, as opposed to specifically attempting to induce somebody to receive your perspective. Research your topic so your evidence is convincing. This argument essay should be very detailed and convincing in pros and Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 4. Two Different kinds of Marriage Essay If we talk about marriage, what comes on your mind? Marriage is a union between a man and woman, particularly regulated by law in which they become a husband and wife. Selecting a husband and wife is one of the most important decisions of a person's life because a marriage can bring either a happy or unhappy life. Choosing the best partner is one of the key to get a happy marriage. Talking about partners, which one do you prefer to marry, the person whom you love or arranged marriage, that is, your parents will choose your partner? For some people they may choose to get married with the person whom they love, which is love marriage. Actually, there are two kinds of marriage that are love marriage and arranged marriage. Arranged marriage is...show more content... These reasons might lead people believe that an arranged marriage will give bad impact to the child's spouse, but there is some evidence that choosing arranged marriage has positive results. Opponents of arranged marriages claim that arranged marriages take away the freedom of choice to the couple. They argue that there will be a lot of pressure of their child to agree with their parents' expectation. It also leads a question that if the family really loves their daughter, why they would not allow their daughter makes her own decision? How she can marry with someone she does not know? However, by doing arranged marriages, it can avoid bad experience before married. It is because arranged marriages give more security for the woman (Sam, 2012). In an arranged marriage, the couples do not meet until the wedding date. The parents still control both of them. Even for some cases, they will talk together about their marriage with the parents also. They will not be allowed to do more intimate activities before marriage, for example, dating. Moreover, from Islamic culture point of view, arranged marriages in Islam is the best way in choosing one's partner because it is not allowed when a woman and man loves each other before marriage. It is because Islam does not want the couples are involved in anything sinful ( Arab News. Marriage: Arranged Marriages and Personal Choices [dialogue]). In Western culture, people tend to have love before marriage. They will do lot Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 5. Compare And Contrast Mla And Apa Also, many professors only teach us MLA style, but this class can teach us two types of essay, MLA and APA. I think that's great because APA also is popular, it's useful for us to know these two types of essays. And from this class, I also learned that when we are writing causal assignment, the most important reason should list at the last of all reasons rather than at the first position. At last, I have some suggestions about REVEL. I tried to do the quiz on the revel but the website said the quiz has not been assigned. However, I used it on my society class in the first semester. Without friendship, people can die of loneliness. What do you think about your friends? Do you like your friends? There are a lot of different types of friends. There are friends that I like and some friends with whom I do not get along. Friends with positive characteristics such as reliable, trustworthy and faithful whom I usually get along with are the one that tend to have more friends and the negative one whom I usually not get along with tend to be alone. Being an overconfident person is also beneficial, as we won't get nervous easily and our performances will be better. This kind of person isn't scared to take some risks as they have trust and confidence in themselves. This kind of person has potential to be a really successful person in the future. I have a friend that is really confident that when he performed for a speech competition at school, he can speak fluently without any hesitation that made him the winner of the competition. We can learn a lot from this kind of person. I learn that correct proportion of something, even the thing we take as something bad, before, can turn into something good. We have to be able to measure how confident we can be while with friends and when the confidence is really needed. Being a competitive person can be advantageous, as this kind of person wants to be the best in everything. As they want to be the best in everything, they will work and study harder than any other people. They will try as hard as they can to be the best. As a result, they will get good marks on test or get an extremely good job in the future. It is beneficial for them. Theatre, or Art. While APA is typically used for Psychology, Sociology, or Social work. APA and MLA's citation both differ by how to put your name, what they call it, and where to put the page number. In APA format the page to cite sources at the end of the work is called "references", while MLA format is called "works cited". There are many different options to consider when choosing where and how to vacation. Everyone has different things they consider enjoyable or relaxing. In this essay I will discuss different types of vacations and point out some benefits of each. Some people enjoy vacationing at the beach. The warm climate is one of the biggest selling points when deciding on a beach vacation. You can enjoy warm weather activities like swimming picnicking or volleyball. Or you can just completely relax. Lay out in the sand with your feet in the water and a cold beverage, soaking up the sunshine. Beach vacations are usually...show more content... People with this mentality would probably be more interested in the theme park or sightseeing vacations. There are lots of things to do. The days are action packed with little or no down time. Once you finish one thing, there are a hundred other things to do next. I personally prefer a mix of the two. I usually like staying busy. I will get bored easily and feel like I'm wasting time if I don't have something to do. But I don't like to feel tied down. If I spontaneously decide I want to go do something else, I like to have that option. My grandmother on the other hand is the master of doing nothing on vacation. A few times a year she rents a beach house or condo on the water, then she spends the entire week inside, sitting on the couch reading books. I don't know why she insists that she be near the water, when she will never even step outside once to look at the water. But it's what she likes to do. And that's the whole point of vacation, getting some time that is just for you. Whether you enjoy beaches or mountains, whether you want to chill or go on an adventure, a vacation is a time for you to do what makes you happy. The purpose of this essay was to explore the different styles of vacations with the thought of matching them to your Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 10. The Different Types of Media Essay The Different Types of Media I think that all different types of media have lots of different influences on society, especially individuals. There is an enormous variety of media including; television, newspapers, radio, magazines, advertisements etc. It seems that the more developed that society gets, the harder it becomes to escape media. One of the most common forms of media is advertisements. Advertisements are not only one of the most common forms of media but also one of the most over–exposed types of media there is. This is because advertisements appear in every single type of other media there is, therefore making advertisements are an essential way for people to 'advertise', or make...show more content... From soaps, like Coronation Street, to documentaries, like a day to remember, there's something for all ages and makes it hard for people not to get infected by this contagious disease. Some people might argue that television is a waste of time that could be better spent or that it displaces the brain of useful information, when in fact these people are mistaken. With televisions powerful documentaries it encourages everyone to take an interest in something and to learn about a passion or maybe teach them how to carry out a dream. Television actually develops and nurtures the mind. Even soaps have a secret hidden agenda of teaching the viewer about topics some people are too scared to talk about or confront. For example a recent storyline in Coronation Street about an emotional violent relationship shows that just because someone doesn't show bruises doesn't mean they aren't in a abusive relationship. Soaps also feature stories of transvestites, child abductions, murders, child neglect etc. putting these on a television screen educates people about everyday things that other people believe shouldn't be discussed. Radio is another form of media, however it's less extreme. Radio generally reaches out to the younger generation with popular radio stations, like Galaxy 102 and Key 103, they feature what is known as popular music, dance and R'n'B. it encourages Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 11. The Governments: The Three Types Of Government Governments A government is a group of people who govern or manage a city or state. Governments are usually related to the word 'corruption' no matter what type of government it is. The three types of governments that are widely known and are the most popular are Monarchy, dictatorship, and democracy. These three forms ofgovernment can either be good or bad depending on the group of people who govern the city or state. In my opinion; however, I believe that the ideal government for Iraq would be a democracy. It's important, though, to know the characteristics of the three types of governments without straight up finding a government corrupted. A monarchy is a form of government where a monarch is ruling and usually, they are referred to as a king or queen. Also, a monarchy is hereditary. In history, the ancient Egyptians saw their monarchs as gods. Beginning in 1500, many European monarchs claimed that their power came from gods; also known as the divine right of kings. The World War I ended many important monarchies; however, there are still 26 monarchies around the world some of which are the United Kingdom, Spain, Sweden, The Netherlands, Morocco, Jordan, Japan, Saudi Arabia, and Swaziland. One of the cons of a monarchy...show more content... A dictatorship is a form of government where a dictator is ruling usually with full authority and force. A dictatorship, in my opinion, is one of the harshest types of government because most of the time there is barely any freedom and the dictator rules by force. However, they start prohibiting opposing organizations and canceling free elections. Applied research is "aimed at solving a currently experienced problem" (Sekaran, p10, 2003). This research can be as simple as finding solutions to daily operational problems. One problem managers consistently want research on is the relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty. The research found on the relationship of customer satisfaction and loyalty spans over the past decade. Many researchers argue that there is no relationship between customer satisfaction and loyalty while others find direct correlations between the two and a business's profitability. In Roger Hadowell's study, he defines loyalty as both behavioral and attitude while conducting his research on a banking organization. He states that behaviors including continuance, increased relationship, and recommendations are all behaviors of loyalty to an organization (Hadowell, 1996). His research illustrates the "relationship of profitability to customer related outcomes that managers can influence directly" (Hadowell, 1996). His findings support the hypothesis that customer satisfaction influences customer loyalty increasing profitability. Hadowell addresses two difficulties that he encountered during his research. First, work with the organization in order to develop the ideal measurement system used for the research. Secondly, focus on data collected over a period of time with strong organizations (Hadowell, 1996). In the White Page Series, researcher Burke Get more content on HelpWriting.net
  • 15. Writing Strengths And Weaknesses On November 21, 2017 I made the biggest mistake in my academic career. I turned in a crap essay to a college level class. I received a "B" and that is the lowest I have ever scored on an essay. This experience has taught me a lot though, it showed me my strengths and weaknesses when writing. I have learned that my writing is best when I am motivated because I am intrigued by the topic I am writing about. On the other hand my writing is the worst when it is rushed, like my "Transcendentalism and American Romanticism"essay. My writing also takes a hit because I have a hard time changing my writing based on others suggestions and my ignorance to commas. Over the years, I have realized that when I'm not interested or I feel like I'm not learning/understanding the material, I unconsciously withdraw. I'm already not a studier so paying attention 100 percent is crucial to my grade. I am very hardworking and can apply myself to fullest, the problem is I need to learn to apply myself even more when I'm in need of help, instead of retracting. Unfortunately, sometimes I am also a procrastinator, but it depends on what and how much the work it is. I can say that I am a very organized student/person. I color code my notes, make lists, and even set up timers to split my time accordingly. I am very interested to take some assessments to learn more about myself, and possibly make some changes. The first assessment I took was the Study Skills Assessment. For Time Management I got a 14 out of 32. I was a little surprised because I do think I manage my time well. Although I do get distracted easily with technology and I don't prioritize very efficiently, which makes sense on why I would score low. For Concentration/Memory I scored a 20 out of 32, which I think is accurate. I got a fair score, but it could be better. In the Note–Taking section I got a 27 out of 32. I wasn't shocked at all, I usually like taking notes and I've realized which strategies work for me and which don't. For Test Strategies I received a 23 out of 32. It has a strong beginning, or introduction sentence, which states the main idea clearly. 2. It has several supporting sentences which make up the body, and support the main idea. No one was there. I silently released my breath and turned toward the closet. I opened the closet carefully and switched on the light. Again, no one was there. I had one place left to look: the bathroom. This was probably the hardest place, because I had seen too many movies where someone was hiding in the shower. Nonetheless, I crept into the tiny bathroom and flipped on the light switch. The navy blue shower curtain hung there concealing whatever fate lay before me. I reached my hand out toward the curtain, paused a moment, steeling myself and summoning the last of my courage, and committed myself to the search. I grabbed the edge of the curtain and whipped it back in a flash, preparing myself to use the knife on the fiend hiding in there. I trembled as the knife dropped out of my hand. No one was there. Relief flooded me so strongly that I nearly crumpled to the floor. Later, after I had called my boyfriend back, he remembered that he had gone by the apartment while I was gone and dropped off a book I was reading. I had forgotten that he had a key. • 18. Types of Competition Economic theory usually differentiates across the four major types of market structure: monopoly, oligopoly, monopolistic competition, and perfect competition. Although the list of market structures can be virtually unlimited, these four types are considered to be the basis for understanding the principles of market performance in different market conditions. Each of the four types of market structures possesses its benefits and drawbacks. In any of these markets, an entrepreneur can develop a strategy appropriate for conquering a part of the market niche. Although for many entrepreneurs monopoly seems an excellent choice (no competitors and full control over the product and its price), in reality it is monopolistic competition that...show more content... In perfect competition, no barriers to entry or exit exist, and firms are free to move across their markets. Certainly, perfect competition seems a perfect choice for customers, while monopoly will seem like a perfect choice for entrepreneurs – no competition, full price control, and full control over the product assortment. However, as an entrepreneur, I would rather choose monopolistic competition. My choice is justified by several reasons. Fist of all, monopoly prevents entrepreneurs from entering the market, while monopolistic competition markets are free for entry, and as an entrepreneur I may enter any market I deem appropriate and effective in terms of maximizing my profits. Second, monopoly does give some control over prices and product assortment, but in the current world, customers always seek to diversify the range of products they use. Monopoly does not leave any chance for differentiation, and as an entrepreneur I will always want to have several different products that will be sold to several different groups of consumers. Finally, it is due to the fact that competition drives innovation and gives me sufficient stimuli for growth that I can make my business grow. As such, in conditions of monopolistic competition I may have fewer opportunities for maximizing my profits for the sake of full control over prices and assortment, but I am more confident that my business will grow for the account of better customer satisfaction Get more content on HelpWriting.net

(Gadzella, 2002) After doing these studies for many years it has been said that ILP is very reliable and valid. ?In 1983, Lockhart and Schmeck studied the validity of the four ILP scales with the different components of a course and demonstrated how these scales can be useful to instructors who would like to ?conceptualize and account for students' individual scores?
