 Applied UPC codes to purchase order SKU lines and transmitted EDI 850 POS to vendors.
Retrieved UPC codes from product online catalogue and/or vendor spreadsheet. Matched UPC to
vendor style number/name, size, and color to ensure accuracy.
 Researched and resolved problems when UPC information didn’t match vendor information on
the UPC assignment screen. Communicated directly with vendors, merchandise assistants, and
buyers to ensure accurate transmission and made sure POS were transmitted to the vendors in a
timely manner.
 Analyzed and resolved 850 transmission issues that were communicated from the vendor through
emails and phone calls. Resent or archived POS as required.
 Identified and resolved specific UPC assignments, repetitive transmission requests or any other
indicator which required on-going PO or vendor relations setup editing.
 Built strong relationships with merchandising team to share EDI requirements that helped
develop efficiency and integrity in the PO writing process.
 Maintained the EDI UPC master database to ensure accurate UPCs,styles,colors and sizes.
Performed weekly maintenance utilizing the UPC duplicate report and vendor issue feedback to
increase the usage of the auto population function.
 Researched and resolved issues with Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs) and changes. Made
necessary corrections to send orders on for carrier status notification. Opened service center
tickets to resolve system related issues.
 Maintained TJX vendor relations table. Activated vendors once POS went through systematic
testing to ensure the vendors system could import ASN information from TJX accurately and
efficiently.
