2. Time and Action plan
TNA is the process that guides the
day-to-day activities of an
organization or project.
It is the process of planning
• what needs to be done,
• when it needs to be done,
• by whom it needs to be done, and
• what resources or inputs are needed to
do it.
3. The TNA derived by assuming the order of
10000 pieces of casual top wear, made out of 95%
cotton and 5% polyester, plain woven solid
dyed fabric, with embroidery logo on it. The
order is for AW 2016, delivery date 31st
SEPTEMBER 2016, shipment at U.K.

6. The buyer accesses the exporter and his organization
on the basis of samples. Therefore it has to be
innovative and of optimum quality. By sampling the
exporter can estimate the yarn consumption for
developing a fabric and get a clear idea on costing and
the manufacturing difficulties.

12. Number of days required for production is decided by capacity
allocated to that particular merchandise or number of days of
available for actual shipment. For mentioned sample TNA,
following assumptions were made while calculating the
number of days required completing the production.
Assumptions:
• No. of pieces= 10000
• SAM of garment= 26.5 min
• No. of M/c= 36
• Efficiency = 50%
No. of days for production= No. of pieces*SAM*No. of machines*Efficiency%
Available Minutes.
No. of days for production= 10000*26.5*36*50%
= 30 days
8*60
