4. An Unforgettable TRIP
My trip to Delhi_____________________________
My family and I planned a five - day summer trip to north India. The trip was a great
surprise for me because I’dnever been to any place beyond my own state earlier in my life.
I was really excited and counting my days as we planned for the most awaiting trip. We
planned to travel through British airways. That was like an icing to a cake because this
was my first experience through air and I had great expectations.
We were at the airport 2 hours before our flight. It was a total new scenario for me. As
soon as the clock struck 12 we boarded our flights. Unlike trains, airplanes had a
systematic seating arrangement, perfect punctual timings as well as great hospitality. I
was impressed by the way air hostess greeted us on our boarding. We were served
delicious food and creamy coffee as the flight boarded. It didn’t take long for us to reach
our destination. I had butterflies in my stomach as soon as the flight swooped down
from the skies and landed on the pavement.
We were received by our close cousins on Delhi airport. The were overwhelmed to see us
all because we met time for the first time in last ten years. We were welcomed with
immense happiness to their place. After having a short conversation with them we were
guided to our rooms where we got freshen up and had a nap before we can plan ahead on
our vacation. Then around 7’o clock we were served dinner followed by a short get
together with close families. Everybody was enjoying their time talking about the olden
times.
The next morning we planned to see some of the great monuments like red fort, India
gate etc. It was a way more better place than the south side as the temperature was low.
Then we started visiting some worshipping places like mosque,...
5. An Opinion Article
CHILDREN ARE EATING TOO MUCH FAST FOOD, DO YOU AGREE?
Globally, fast food restaurants are becoming more and more frequent these days. It is
commonly seen that most younger ones are attracted to t junk food. This essay explains
why people are interested in fast food and what are the risks caused by consuming this
kind of food.
Firstly, due to our stressful and busy lives we do not have enough time to prepare food at
home . As a result, we prefer to eat outside in order save time and energy. For example, a
working woman comes home after her busy day and she will probably have to cook food
for her or for her family. Thus, eventually, she might prefer to take her family out for
dinner. This makes it clear why children like t0 go (/are used to going) to restaurants and
fast food centers.
In addition, consuming non-healthy food causes serious health problems. For example, food
restaurants are mainly concerned about the yummy taste of the dishes but not about the
vitamins or proteins. As a result, children do not realize about the risks caused by eating
that non-healthy food because of their immature mind. Thu, non-energy food may cause
diet problems and make the person weak.
In conclusion, parents should take care of their children diet even when they go out. It has
been proved that young people are attracted to junk food, but they are not aware of its
dangers. Each and every individual should follow some basic diet instructions to keep fit
and healthy.
