SWING PDF Converter is a software tool used to export Lotus Notes emails and documents into PDF files for archiving, sharing and web printing.

1. How-To: Reduce PDF file size
There are 4 ways in which the size of the created PDF files can be managed. The 1st way is to
disable the HTTP stream option in General Settings. This action will disable the download and
rendering of external resources (such as externally stored images shown in emails and similar).

2. How-To: Reduce PDF file size
The 2nd way is to enable the Oversized image compression feature in PDF Settings.
The compression can be set to values ranging from 72 to 600 dpi. Compressing the images in this
way can reduce the PDF file size considerably if the emails/documents contain images.

3. How-To: Reduce PDF file size
The 3rd way is to have your attachments extracted to disk or not extracted at all.
You can set either of these options in PDF Settings.

4. How-To: Reduce PDF file size
The 4th way is to build an alternate Notes form optimized for PDF rendering (and display
only the data that you wish to store in PDF format). Once built, you can select the
appropriate alternate form for a conversion job during the first conversion step.
