Scientific studies have shown that providing easy & inexpensive access have a multiplivative effect of 1:4 between public investment and aaded value by private market related to spatial data. Die von GKG-KOGIS in Auftrag gegebene Marktanalyse hat gezeigt, dass im Geodatenmarkt Schweiz dieses Verhältnis mit einem Volumen von rund 200 Mio. Franken pro Jahr heute aber erst bei etwa 1:1 liegt.
