I plan to travel to Brazil this year because of Fifa World cup will be held at the seleção
which literally known as The Selection. Famous with their festival and beaches also the
truly unique culture and life styles. I plan to go to Brazil with my friends who also have a
passions about football like me. History of Brazil , were part of Portuguese colony till
1880 when the capital empire of Portugal was transferred from Lisbon to Rio De Janeiro
after French force led by Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte invaded Portugal. Pedro
Alvares Cabral explored Brazil in 1500 who claimed the area for Portugal. Achieve it’s
independence in 1822 with the creation of the Empire of Brazil , a unitary state
governed under a constitutional monarchy and a parliamentary systems. Comes from
the word “Brazilwood” a tree that grew plentiful along the Brazilian coast. The official
name of the land in Portuguese records , was the “ Land of the Holy Cross” (Terra da
Santa Cruz).
Famous for being home to one of the world’s top football teams , the Rio de Janeiro
Carnival and the remarkable Iguazu Falls , Brazil is an exciting world travel destination.
As South America’s largest country , Brazil covers a majority of the continent’s
northeastern region and boarders all of it’s country except for Chile and Ecuador. From
the Amazon rainforest in the North to the tropical beaches along the Atlantic , to the
Pantanal wetlands and the vibrant metropolises of the Southeast there are plenty of
interest place to visit in Brazil.
The Brazilian flag was officially adopted on Nov. 19th 1889, four days after the Republic
was proclaimed. The green color represents the Brazilian fields. The yellow losang
represents Brazilian gold - and, by extension, the wealthiness of the country. The blue
represents the sky of Rio de Janeiro on the night of Nov. 15th 1889; each star
represents one of the Brazilian States. The white strip contains the inscription "Ordem e
Progresso", meaning "Order and Progress". The phrase is attributed to the French
positiviste philosophe Augusto Comte, who had admirers in Brazil.
1.1 The Brazilian flag was designed by a painter named Decio Vilares.
The climate of Brazil comprises a wide range of weather conditions across a large area
and varied topography, but most of the country is tropical , Brazil hosts five major
climatic subtypes: Equatorial , Tropical , Semiarid , Highland Tropical , Temperate and
Subtropical. It is complicated to talk about the weather of Brazil because of the different
climatic conditions produce environments ranging from equatorial rainforest in the north
and semiarid deserts in the northeast , to temperate coniferous forest in the south and
tropical savannah in central Brazil. Many regions have starkly different microclimates
but South of Bahia, near the coasts, and more southerly most of the state of São Paulo,
the distribution of rainfall changes, with rain falling throughout the year. The south
enjoys subtropical conditions, with cool winters and average annual temperatures not
exceeding 18 °C (64.4 °F) winter frosts and snowfall are not rare in the highest areas.

Caxias do Sul , Rio Grande do Sul.
There were about 189,953,000 inhabitants in 2008 According to the 2008 PNAD
(National Household Sample Survey), conducted by the IBGE , the Brazilian Statistics
bureau and as the latest (2010) census , the Brazilian government estimates its
population at 190.8 millions. The population of Brazil is estimated based on various
sources from 1550 to 1850. The first official census took place in 1872. From that year,
every 10 years (with some exceptions) the population is counted. Brazil is the fifth most
populated country in the world. According to the 2010 revison of the World Population
Prospects the total population of Brazil was 194,946,000 in 2010, compared to only
53,975,000 in 1950.
Capital city of Brazil , Brasilia Located in the Brazilian Highlands, Brasilia was installed
in 1960 as Brazil’s capital. Brazil’s former President Juscelino Kubitschek ordered the
city to be planned and developed into what some refer to as a utopia. Brasilia’s modern
day infrastructure is designed in the shape of an airplane in which each of its sections
serve as different districts such as government, commercial, residential and cultural. A
must-visit place in Brazil also one of the venue for the Fifa World Cup 2014 final round
this june.
1.3 From upper left National Congress of the Federative Republic of Brazil , Juscelino
Kubitschek Bridge , Monument Axis , Palacio da Alvarado and Cathedral Of Brasilia.
If you going to asking who is Brazil’s Prime Minister ? the answer is no one. Brazil does
not have a prime minister but it is headed by a president. The president of Brazil is
Dilma Rousseff, the first woman to be elected as president. She succeeded president
Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva. Brazil no longer has a Prime Minister. The position only
existed during the Empire of Brazil from 1847 to 1889. Brazil elects on the national level
a head of state the president and a legislature. The president is elected to a four-year
term by absolute majority vote through a two-round system.
Located at South America and founded by a Portuguese make Brazil official language is
Portuguese and is spoken by more than 99% of its population. The populations speaks
210 languages , of which 180 are indigenous. Less than forty thousand people (about
0.02% of total populations) actually speaks in indigenous languages in Brazil territory.
languages is one of the strongest elements of Brazil's national unity. The only non-
Portuguese speakers are members of Amerindian groups, and pockets of immigrants
who maintain their heritage languages. Within Brazil, there is no major dialect variation
of the Portuguese, but only moderate regional variation in accent, vocabulary, and use
of personal nouns, pronouns, and verb conjugations. Variations are diminishing as a
result of mass media, especially national television networks that are viewed by the
majority of Brazilians. Many foreigners who speak Portuguese fluently have difficulty
writing it properly. Because of Brazil's size, self-sufficiency, and relative isolation,
foreign languages are not widely spoken. English is often studied in school and
increasingly in private courses. It has replaced French as the principal second language
among educated people. Because Spanish is similar to Portuguese, most Brazilians can
understand it to a certain degree but find difficulty communicating orally, while Spanish
speakers usually have difficulty understanding spoken Portuguese.
Brazil is the world’s largest catholic populations according to the 2000 Demographic
Census ( the PNAD survey does not enquire about religion) , 73.57% of the populations
is Roman Catholicism and the rest populations is other religions or no religions. Religion
in Brazil formed from the meeting of the Catholic Church with the religious traditions of
African slaves and indigenous peoples. However, in the last ten years Protestantism,
particularly Pentecostal and/or Evangelical Protestantism, has spread in Brazil, while
the proportion of Catholics has dropped significantly. After Protestantism, individuals
professing no religion are also a significant group, exceeding 7% of the population in the
2000 census. Christ the Redeemer is a monument depicting Jesus Christ in the city of
Rio de Janeiro , was inaugurated on October 12 , 1931. The feast of Our Lady of
Aparecida. A symbol of christanity. One of the most internationally known in Brazil.
1.4 Christ the Redeemer located in Rio de Janeiro.
Every country have their own traditional food/cuisine and costume, Brazilian cuisine
varies greatly by region, reflecting the country's varying mix of indigenous and
immigrant populations. This has created a national cuisine marked by the preservation
of regional differences. Examples are Feijoada considered the country's national dish
and regional food such as vatapa. . brazil is the biggest coffe importers in the world. So
you’re not a Brazilian if you not start your day with a cup of coffee , the national
beverage is coffee and cachaça is Brazil's native liquor. Cachaça is distilled from sugar
cane and is the main ingredient in the national cocktail, Caipirinha. Brazil traditional
costume is totally influenced by Portuguese style and a little bit of mixture from the
contribution of immigrant.
1.5 Night view from the sky of Sao Paolo , Brazil.
More than 10 places you must-visited when you come to Brazil one of it is Sao Paolo.
The largest city in Brazil , not only in Brazil but also in the world according to the
populations. Located in southeastern Brazil , Sao Paolo is known for its skyscrapers ,
gastronomy and robust culture scene. Although Sao Paolo is known for its concrete
jungle , it is also home to a large number of public parks and even portions of the
Atlantic rainforest.
Next is Rio de Janeiro. There is no destination on earth more animated and exciting
than Rio de Janeiro. Located in southeastern Brazil, Rio de Janeiro is the most visited
city of South America due to its famous mountains, landmarks, beaches and Carnival
festival. Rio de Janeiro is situated on one of the world’s largest harbors surrounded by
natural attractions that include the Sugarloaf and Corcovado mountains and famous
beaches like Copacabana and Ipanema. The city’s iconic landmark is the enormous
Christ the Redeemer statue. Rio de Janeiro is one of the venue for final round of Fifa
World Cup 2014 this June and will be held at the old stadium which has been upgraded
and can fits more than 78 thousands spectators , the Maracanã Stadium. The main
reason I want to go to Brazil this year. Live broadcasting and tourist will bring lots of
profits to the country when World Cup started. It is estimate more than a millions
peoples all around the world will come to Brazil this summer to watch the world cup.
Also the place you can’t miss when you visit Brazil is the remarkable place and world
known place in Brazil is Iguazu Falls , heaven on earth.
1.6 Iguazu Falls , Brazil.

1.8 location of Brazil in world map.
Population of Malaysia; The population distribution is uneven, with some
20 million of 28 million citizens concentrated in Peninsular Malaysia, which
has an area of 131,598 square kilometres (50,810.27 sq mi).

The climate of Brazil comprises a wide range of weather conditions across a large area and varied topography, but most of the country is tropical , Brazil hosts five major climatic subtypes: Equatorial , Tropical , Semiarid , Highland Tropical , Temperate and Subtropical. It is complicated to talk about the weather of Brazil because of the different climatic conditions produce environments ranging from equatorial rainforest in the north and semiarid deserts in the northeast , to temperate coniferous forest in the south and tropical savannah in central Brazil. Many regions have starkly different microclimates but South of Bahia, near the coasts, and more southerly most of the state of São Paulo, the distribution of rainfall changes, with rain falling throughout the year. The south enjoys subtropical conditions, with cool winters and average annual temperatures not exceeding 18 °C (64.4 °F) winter frosts and snowfall are not rare in the highest areas. 1.2 (left) Tropical climate in Fernando de Moronha , Pernambuco. There were about 189,953,000 inhabitants in 2008 According to the 2008 PNAD (National Household Sample Survey), conducted by the IBGE , the Brazilian Statistics bureau and as the latest (2010) census , the Brazilian government estimates its population at 190.8 millions. The population of Brazil is estimated based on various sources from 1550 to 1850. The first official census took place in 1872.
