can find the Lepsa village
and natural reservation.
This area is ideal for
tourists that want to enjoy
the fresh air and wild
scenery. The main
attraction regarding this
area is the Cheile Tisitei
Natural Reservation, where
you can find bears, wolves
and wild black goats -
endangered species.

3. Putna waterfall. Close to Lepsa, you can find the Putna waterfall,
which is 80 m tall and has a depth of 12 m, being renowed for its beauty,
especially in the wintertime.
The Lepșa trout reservation If you enjoy good food, then you should
not miss the Lepsa trout reservation, where each year 10 tons of fresh trout
are being produced.

4. The history of the Lepsa monastery starts in 1774, when an
apprentice of Paisie de la Neamt decided to found a holy settlement next
to the river Putna. In 1929 the church caught fire, but was rebuilt several
years later. The monastery survived the communistic regime, even when it
was closed down in 1960.
