2. LEARNING
Try to learn something new every quarter. Enrol in a
short course - perhaps a leisure activity or learning
about the stock exchange.
3. CELEBRATE
Have little celebrations for achievements or just for no
reason at all for everyone in your office or everyone at
home. Maybe something special to eat with coffee, a bottle
of champagne after work, a little fun present for everyone.
5. GETTING UP
Get up a bit earlier in the morning. It does not have to
be an hour earlier - just a bit earlier.
It will help you to avoid unnecessary stress.
6. REVIEWING
Review your day in the morning before you get up. Your
mind is very clear in the morning and you'll see solutions to
challenging goals if you think about them first thing.
7. TREAT YOURSELF
Make a present to yourself and buy a new briefcase, a
top quality pen or a leather note pad cover for example.
8. WEEKEND GETAWAY
Go away for the weekend at least once in a quarter
and try to go more often if possible.
9. EATING
You are what you eat. They say if you eat light, you'll feel
right. Not sure about diet? Consult a naturopath or
nutritionist and have a diet tailored to meet your
individual needs.
11. MUSIC
Take time to listen to music. Playing motivational
tapes is fine, but sometimes you need to give your
brain a rest - listen to something classical or to
some great jazz.
