Operation Christmas Child aims to reach children under 15 with the gospel message by providing shoebox gifts. When individuals pack shoeboxes, they are planting seeds that can be harvested by other believers as children are exposed to the gospel. The church's goal is to pack 300 boxes this year to contribute to this evangelism effort focused on reaching children before they lose receptiveness to the gospel message.
Tates Creek Christian Church Herald for November 1, 2016
1. Operation Christmas Child....
the harvest is plentiful!
Did you know there are 2 billion children in the world
age 14 and younger? Did you know research shows
that the probability of accepting Christ drastically
diminishes past this age? The harvest is plentiful and
Operation Chirstmas Child is focused on reaching the
world’s children under age
15 with the Gospel message.
When you pack a shoebox,
you are a seed planter into
the heart of a child. That seed
is watered and harvested by
other believers as the Holy
Spirit moves in that child’s heart. Our goal as a church
is to pack 300 boxes this year! Free shoeboxes and
instructions can be picked up in the foyer. Please
return them to the Worship Center by November 6.
