- The console is built similarly like a PC with a cpu, hard disk, Ram, power supply and graphic card..but this device is specially customized to work on display devices like monitors ,TVs, LCD projector … the sole purpose of these consoles generated a special naming which separates them from personal computers used for work
- In 1972 the first home video game was released by Magnavox which started the first generation, other console was the famous Atari with the revolutionary game PONGThe second generation included VES and the new AtariThe third generation had the new version of Atari with the break hit game Super Mario brosThe forth generation witnessed the entry of Sega into the video game raceThe Sony play station 1 was released in the era of the Fifth generation consoles making a big hit selling over 100 million consoles world wideThe 6th generation had a big competition between Microsoft's XBOX, Sony's play station II , Nintendo's GameCube , and Sega’s dream castIn our present time which has the seventh generation the competition remains mostly between the XBOX 360 and the PLAY STATION 3
