28. Instagram & Facebook
• Snapchat isn’t for everyone. If you aren’t having fun with
it don’t force it.
• Test out Instagram stories and Facebook Live
• Instagram doesn’t have the engagement that Snapchat
does.
• There will be an update at some point to make it even
better.
• If you are going to Facebook Live, have it be longer than
5 minutes.
• You can’t chose a Facebook live Thumbnail so make sure
you start it in the good position.
29. • If you can give advance notice to your
followers for Facebook Live.
• If you don’t think you can Snapchat or
Instagram, holding people’s attention for
even longer on Facebook will be tough.
• Be prepared, have notes, get pre-asked
questions ahead of time to answer live.
• Interact with the audience but don’t get
distracted by it.
30. • Which ever way you use any of the
platforms they have a large value that you
can bring to your blog and brand
partnerships / press trips, etc.
• Use them to promote your other work and
use your work to promote them.
