This document introduces building an Adobe Air mobile app for Android to provide beer recommendations and recipes. It was developed using Adobe Flash Professional CS5 and the Adobe Air runtime. The app handles different screen resolutions either through code resizing, which is fast but can cause artifacts, or by creating multiple projects tailored to different screen layouts. Lessons learned include file paths being case-sensitive and performance being similar to a 7-year-old PC. The app was successfully delivered to Belgian grocery stores to help shoppers find beers that match their tastes and recipes.
