2. PROBLEM STATEMENT
• The objective is to design and implement two
bots, one manual and the other autonomous.
• The autonomous bot should function as a
shadow to the manual bot i.e. it follows the
manual bot on any given track.
3. GAMEPLAY
• Competition consists of two rounds –
a)Preliminary round b)Final round.
• The time taken to complete the track will be
taken as the criteria for qualification in both the
rounds.
• A simple geometric track will be there for the
prelim round and for the finals the track will
contain radial turns.
• The arena of both the rounds will be disclosed on
the day of the competition.
4. Specifications
• None of the bots should not exceed the dimension 25cm x
25cm x 25cm (l x b x h) at any point during the match.
External device used for control are not included in the size
constraint.
• Adapters and the remote controller will not be included in
this constraint.
• The manual Bot can be wireless or wired.
• In case of wired bot, wires should be stacked into a single
unit and should be slack at every moment of the
competition.
• All the robots with wireless control should be able to change
frequencies (if required) or coded channels to prevent any
radio conflicts , it may be changed before the start of the
race to avoid frequency interference with other team.
5. Power Supply
1. The bot must run on DC power supply. One is
although allowed to use AC to DC adapters
and a 220 Volt AC power source will be
available on the site of competition .The
voltage b/w any two points must not exceed
12 volts at any given point of time.
2. The machine can be powered electrically
only. Use of an IC engine in any form is not
allowed.
6. General Rules
• Each team should be having maximum 3
members. Students of different institutions
are allowed to constitute a team.
• The organizers reserve the right to change
any rule at any time as they deem fit.
• Change in rules if any will highlighted on the
website and notified to the registered teams.
• Violation of any rule may lead to
disqualification.
7. PRIZE MONEY
• A sum of INR 20,000 has been kept as the
prize money. “Winner takes All”.
