13. HISTORICAL AND TOURISTIC PLACES IN TURKEY It is a palace that was built on a hill in east Beyazit in 1789 by İshak Pasha who was the son of vizier Hasan Pasha. Having approximately 360 rooms and lounges ,the palace fits the qualities of a traditional Ottoman Palace . Rumi was a 13th century Persian Poet and Sufi mystic. Rumi, was a philosopher and mystic of Islam. His doctrine advocates unlimited tolerance, positive reasoning, goodness, charity and awareness through love.
