2. Patents
Teletron® as always pledges the majority of its
resources in the research field.
Up until 1986 numerous international patents were
registered, among which the following:
– IVCS® system for the safety of personnel who work in
high risk areas; (or environment)
– B.S.D.S.® system for the automatic identification to the
core of forest fires;

integrated security systems of vast areas,
integrating different technologies, of which:

-Video surveillance system TVCC
-Para-metrical protective systems (optical fibre,
microwaves, etc.)
-Gate and entrance control
-Sensors for the measurement of environmental

4. The information gathered from the

sophisticated systems which
automatically are able to detect
intrusions in the controlled areas ,
the presence of objects and other
anomalies which could indicate a
state of alarm and alert the operator.

The control of building access, by port
authorities can be carried out through
the use of turnstiles and pass readers
The pass readers would be
connected to specific computers
which create a personnel
file of entrances/exits,
employee/visitor
20. Pedestrian Entrance with Infra-red Sensors
This control system, by means of sensors with infra-red rays, through a warning
sound,signal the pedestrian crossing, it could also be used together with a pass
reader or activate a system of taping and recording the images every time the
sensors become activated.

The technological solutions developed by Teletron for environmental
monitoring are also applied in the following sectors:
- Monitoring of hydric and hydrogeological risk,
- Water/atmospheric/acoustic pollution, seismic phenomenon etc.

The images and data are sent to the control centre, through various methods
of line communication, from the duplex cable to optical fibre, from the
wireless network dedicated to mobile telephony, also making the most of
internet and the World Wide Web.

(Bright Spot Detection System)
The B.S.D.S.® integrates high electronic technology telecommunications
and information science into one system for the use of the assigned operator
of the remote sensing and of the monitoring of forest fires
it is used to create control and alarm centres at a regional or national level,
and it is at present, the only working system in which operation is based on
automatic remote sensing with infra-red of fires, in Italy and abroad.
28. Integrated monitoring of environmental emergencies
VIDEO: Visual control of the area subject to emergency and of
neighbouring areas, with day and night vision (IR), panoramic and
detailed;
DATI: Automatic surveying of the phenomenon in course, with the
sensors directly connected to the wireless network, automatic
transmission of data centrally in order to be processed and broadcast to
those concerned;
AUDIO: Support to emergency radio transmissions, with propagation of
signals of the frequencies used by the Civil Defence

coordination of manpower and means engaged in the emergencies.
