6. SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY It must be remembered that an interior design must not be taken for granted. Its effectiveness could be easily detected through the convenience it offers. Its quality and design call the attention of the people using the space.

13. THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK In conceiving this study, different theories of learning and knowledge have been used and quoted. The following are the main concepts and constructs upon this study is based.

Taste is an appreciation of order and a sure knowledge of what constitute of fitness. These concepts can be learned through education, travel, experience, and living. In learning these principles, the person will come to understand that a room-any-room is simply an enclosure of space and time for a specific purpose. The challenge is to know what is suitable in these defined space.
