- Social media is the interaction among people in which they create, share or exchange information and ideas in virtual communities and networks. Social media can also be said to be a group of Internet-based applications that build on the ideological and technological foundations of internet that allows the creation and exchange of user- generated contents.
- 1969: First major commercial internet service got introduced for people in US. 1971: First email was delivered. By the end of 90’s world wide web developed so rapidly and WWW technology got introduced in 1993. In 2001 , various ways of social media were introduced. 2003: Evolution of social media took place and later it got introduced to teachers and students of colleges and schools
- 2005: Facebook introduced a different version for high school students to make them share and explore information and useful data through net. ! YouTube was introduced. ! 3. Membership for Facebook account got expand. ! 4. Twitter was launched as a social networking site. and got a huge effective feedback from people. ! 5. People began to move forward towards internet applications and usages. ! 6. Finally, Internet conquered almost every field of social and media networking and information sharing process
