Also kudos to everyone who took part in our first expanded (across SEA/GC) management offsite meeting last week in Shenzhen. I walked away with three priorities for success: 1. Identify the verticals and source the right merchandise at the right price that we have the right to win, either on our core eBay marketplaces globally or through our newly developed Sourcingforebay platform. 2. It is no longer a level playing field game on eBay under Turnaround and Dynamo. Individual and casual sellers will find it harder and tougher to sell on eBay. We need to shift to even more targeted AAAs on larger business and professional sellers. 3. HK re-invigoration for both Marketplace and PayPal is critical for our ability to meet GC/SEA budget. We need to have a solid plan in next 60 days to either bend the curve in HK or mitigate the risk from CN/TW/SEA. I will work with my DRs to provide top down guidances accordingly. Thanks and regards, Jeff Liao from his BlackBerry Handheld
