12. Gerund and to infinitive
To infinitive
+ To show the purpose:
He learned hard to pass the

In order to earn money, they
have to work all day.

Gerund
• + After some phrases
such as: It is no use: không có
ích / It is no good/ have difficulty /
trouble: gặp khó khăn/trở

Ex: It is no good asking him to go.
