2. Is there room on the bus?
Author, illustrator, publisher: The author to the book ‘Is there room on the
bus’ is Helen Piers. The illustrator is Hannah Giffard. Frances Lincoln published
the book in 1996.
Visual style: The book is hand drawn and then painted. Certain pages have
more layers of depth to them as others do. A wide range of colors have been
used.
Layout: The layout of the text is structured in a downwards diagonal line. The
images are evenly spread throughout each page and appear with a slightly
detailed background.
Fonts and text per page: The font is serif and each page has one o two lines
within it.
Number of pages: there is approximately 31 pages.

publisher is the penguin group.
Visual style: The book seems to have been hand drawn and then the color
added by hand. A lot of attention as been added to the amount of detail
within each individual layer of the book.
Layout: the layout of the book is placed with the picture on the left page and
then the text placed on the right page.
Fonts and text per page: there is a small amount of text on every right page.
The text consists of 2-4 lines. The text is also written within a rhyme. The font
is written in serif.
Number of pages: There is 31 pages within the book.

Author, illustrator, publisher: tony Ross is the author and illustrator. The book
was published by Harper Collins.
Visual style: The book has been hand drawn and then proceeded to be
colored in by hand or painted by hand. There is again a wide range of colors
being used within each page.
Layout: each page has the same, a picture at the top of the page and then a
small amount of text at the bottom underneath the picture.
Fonts and text per page: the font used is Sans serif. There is a very small
amount of text per page. This ranges from around 1-3 lines per page. The text
is bold and of a large scale.
Number of pages: There is 25 pages overall within the book.
