An Educational Tool Like Puzzles for Children Enables them to Play and
                                 Learn

Playing with puzzles is not a new phenomenon. Both children and adults have
been doing that for ages. Puzzles like the jigsaw ones are really entertaining. In
earlier days it was the wooden puzzles. Pictures were painted on pieces of wood
and by means of a jigsaw the pieces used to be cut out. It was during 1760 that
the first jigsaw puzzle was introduced commercially. The name of the man who
created it was John Spilsbury. The puzzles for children created by him were
actually maps. Young children learning geography were greatly benefited by these
educational puzzles. Those puzzles helped the children learn about countries and
regions.

Gradually modern jigsaw puzzles were made on a mass scale. Cardboard was
used as a raw material to make these puzzles. Later on plastic and foam were
used to make puzzles for children (in Danish puslespil til børn) These brightly
colored puzzles are great for children to play and learn. Since the pieces are large
it is easy to manipulate them particularly by young children. Nowadays you have
three dimensional wooden puzzles which are simple. The shapes that are used
today are either that of an animal or a human being.

Children who play and learn (in Danish leg og lær) through puzzles develop
faster. These educational tools aid children to improve their problem solving and
motor skills. Since these are available in the shape of animals, humans and other
interesting forms children learn a lot about them. Not only children but adults too
play with puzzles. It is a sort of brain teaser. Today you have complicated puzzles
which were introduced after 1990. The brain has several functions and playing
with puzzles help develop these functions. Puzzles help improve reasoning, logical
analysis, numerical calculations and much more. Regarding the physical aspect
these puzzles help improve hand-eye coordination. These even impart spatial
awareness.

Puzzles are an integral part of the learning process. Children should be given
access to puzzles from an early age. Since subject specific puzzles are available
nowadays a child can get lot of valuable information from such puzzles. A lot of
children are spatial learners and they learn better when they handle objects
which are related to the subject that they are learning. Since puzzles also have
images these are also beneficial for children who are visual learners. Problem
solving can turn out to be a fun exercise with puzzles. When learning is fun
children enjoy and develop interest in it. Later on it helps to develop career skills.

                    Toys Help Overcome Reading Problems

Every child is unique in their own way, and it is unreasonable to expect that all
kids will have the same learning and grasping power. While some are quick in
their learning process, some face reading problems initially due to many internal
and external factors. The main thing to do here is to be patient with the child,
and adopt new methods to help them come to speed with the other children.
More than that, it is important to help them get the confidence in themselves
which they usually lose when they don’t succeed in their learning process. One
such was of helping out the child with reading problems is to buy toys for them
that are specially designed to help improve the cognitive abilities of the child.
Many people don’t know, but learning disabilities are highly prevalent in kids and
are scientifically known as dyslexia. This is usually misconstrued by parents and
the society as ignorance on the part of the child. Whereas, it is nothing to do with
the child’s behavior as he is not able to perform because of under developed
cognitive abilities. Instead of making things tough for the child, the parents
should go for the scientifically proven methods to support the growth of
intelligence and learning power in the kid.

When you buy toys that are helpful in overcoming the reading problems (in
Danish læseproblemer), you should check the details on how the toy actually
works. This would help you in understanding the nature of the toy, and whether it
would be helpful in the development of your kids learning abilities. To make it
easier for the parents or guardians, the companies that manufacture toys for
reading problems classify the toy in terms of age range and the particular aim
behind the game. Moreover, many of these games are highly interactive and
require the involvement of the seniors and other children as well. The
involvement of a group of people helps the child in gaining confidence and
learning through exchange of ideas. This also makes the toy or game a lot more
fun, apart from being informative and helpful.

It is advisable that the parents should buy toys (in Danish køb legetøj) of
rudimentary and basic level in the beginning. Then once the kid starts overcoming
the reading problem, you can gradually pick up toys that are more advanced than
the previous one. Slowly and steadily, you can help your son or daughter with the
support of these educational toys.
Which Toy is right for your Kid?

Let me ask me ask you a question, what were the things which you loved the
most when you were a child? How did you create your fancy world? Who were the
most prized possessions when you knew you some human? What filled up your
room and you always craved for more? I am sure you must have got the answer
by now and the answer to all these is Toys.

Toys are the dearest possession of the children and they love to have more and
more every time when they see their friends playing with some which he or she
does not have or when they spot something which is lying in the window of the
toy shop. It seems that their demands for toys seem to never end and we keep
on buying them whatever they ask for, the reason behind this is we love them
and as soon as they are born, we vow to give them all the happiness in the world
and we do so by completing all their needs but there is one thing which we tend
to overlook when we are buying the load of toys for children (in Danish legetøj
til børn) and that is we don’t check the utility of the toy or how the toy would
help to develop the development of the child. We as smart parents have to make
sure that we give the right kind of upbringing to your children and sometimes in
the love factor, we tend to overlook the fact that what impact the toy has on the
child.

The toys at small age are made for nourishing the development processes in the
child like for the infant to 6 to 8 months we have the teether which is meant for
infants of that age because they are expecting the teeth to come and hence they
want to put everything in their mouths. So next time when you go out to buy a
toy for your child then make sure that you buy the right kind of toy and to know
this all you have to do is find out the age group which is written on the toy and
also check the age of your kids and then decide whether the toy will contribute in
the development process or not. There are many educational toys (in Danish
pædagogisk legetøj) in the market to fulfill your child’s developmental
requirement.

Motor Toys and Institution Toys makes your Kids Smart

You can virtually find robotic technology everywhere—from remote controls, to
digital clocks, to vehicles, computers, manufacturing equipment, UAVs, the toys
like AIBO, ASIMO and even your commonplace ATMs. To be deemed a true robot,
a machine must be able to interface and interact with its user and surroundings
and respond accordingly. Robotic technology is being extensively in motor toys
nowadays.

In the past, people thoroughly believed that there was a humanoid robotic race.
Even in mythology we had the Greek god Hephaestus who said to have built
automations to assist in the construction of temples. The Jews thought that clay
golems could come alive and so did the Norse, about their clay giants. As early as
the 4th century circa, the Greek mathematician Archytas claimed that he could
make ‘the pigeon’, a steam powered bird—this was before Watt invented the
steam engine. In the 9th century, war weapons were said to have utilized air and
steam pressure to launch projectiles.

When it comes to motor toys, robotic technology has greatly evolved. Take for
example toy human robots, does one want them to look like actual humans or the
typical nuts-bolts-and-rivets type model? It is seen that children prefer high tech
robots but only if they look cool and resemble some kind of a fighting machine
not a human. Gundam, transformers etc are good examples of what children want
their institution toys or motor toys (in Danish motorisk legetøj) to look like.
In recent times, if you are ready to dish out money then you can buy the three
most recent types of robots—soft, swarm and haptic. Soft robots have a flexible
endoskeleton and silicon body and resemble humans; swarm robots have multiple
processors working in unison which gives them unprecedented computing power
enabling them to interact better (like the Aibo) and finally the haptic robots which
enable their users to interface with them on a virtual level. The power source has
varied since the inception of robotic technology. Earlier automatons used air,
water and steam; newer robots use DC motors, lithium batteries, air muscles,
actuators and even hydrogen fuel cells. Robots have always been a thing of
fascination for children. They make for great institution toys (in Danish
institutionslegetøj) and help to inspire a feeling of interest in robotics and
mechanics amongst the young minds. The robot Aibo for example will intrigue
your child and urge him to find new ways to interact with the robot—this boosts
creativity.

Bilibo - Your Child’s Best Friend

Toys and puzzles are the best friend of any child in his or her growing years. They
not only keep them engaged but also help in their brain development. However,
being a caring mom or dad you keep no stone unturned to provide the best toys
and amusement stuffs to your child but to your surprise, your child very soon
loose interest in that toy. This is the basic behavioral trait of kids in the initial
years. To ease the tension of the parents, the toy manufacture companies have
come up with a range of amusing puzzles for children called Bilibo. They claim
these puzzles for children to be the best in the market, which will catch the
attention of the kids to the fullest. To every ones surprise, their claim has been
validated by the amount of growing popularity of Bilibo among kids.
You must be wondering, what I am talking about. Then let us talk elaborately
about the toy. Bilibo is a shell shaped, hardwearing, non-toxic and recyclable
polyethylene material, which is non-breakable and non-destructible. Swiss
designer Alex Hochstrasser first produced it in the year 2001, after numerous
sessions of discussions with child development experts. The driving force behind
making this puzzles for children (in Danish puslespil til børn) was to
stimulate their sensory organs and help in their over all development. This toy
comes in two different sizes namely big, small, and available in different colours
as well to attract the attention of the children. The bigger one is about 16 inches
in both length and width and in 9 inches in height. Due to its bigger size, children
can easily sit and spin on it, can wear it as a helmet, can also fill it with snow,
sand and even water. The smaller ones comes as more handy to kids, they can
take it while bathing and swimming, as it is waterproof and floats on water, it
gives great pleasure to kids playing with it. Due to its multipurpose nature, it
gives enough room for children to expand their imagination and use it according
to their choice and mood.

For the uniqueness of the toy, Bilibo got many International awards, like, Swiss
Product Design Award in 2002, Spiel Gut in Germany award, and UK Good Toy
Awards in 2006 as Toy of the Year for being by far the best puzzles for children.
Therefore, all you mom and dad out there, stop pouring over electronic games
and other sci-fi paying stuffs and bring a box of Bilibo as your child’s best friend
in his growing years.

The main thing to do here is to be patient with the child, and adopt new methods to help them come to speed with the other children. More than that, it is important to help them get the confidence in themselves which they usually lose when they don’t succeed in their learning process. One such was of helping out the child with reading problems is to buy toys for them that are specially designed to help improve the cognitive abilities of the child.
  • 3. Many people don’t know, but learning disabilities are highly prevalent in kids and are scientifically known as dyslexia. This is usually misconstrued by parents and the society as ignorance on the part of the child. Whereas, it is nothing to do with the child’s behavior as he is not able to perform because of under developed cognitive abilities. Instead of making things tough for the child, the parents should go for the scientifically proven methods to support the growth of intelligence and learning power in the kid. When you buy toys that are helpful in overcoming the reading problems (in Danish læseproblemer), you should check the details on how the toy actually works. This would help you in understanding the nature of the toy, and whether it would be helpful in the development of your kids learning abilities. To make it easier for the parents or guardians, the companies that manufacture toys for reading problems classify the toy in terms of age range and the particular aim behind the game. Moreover, many of these games are highly interactive and require the involvement of the seniors and other children as well. The involvement of a group of people helps the child in gaining confidence and learning through exchange of ideas. This also makes the toy or game a lot more fun, apart from being informative and helpful. It is advisable that the parents should buy toys (in Danish køb legetøj) of rudimentary and basic level in the beginning. Then once the kid starts overcoming the reading problem, you can gradually pick up toys that are more advanced than the previous one. Slowly and steadily, you can help your son or daughter with the support of these educational toys.

Who were the most prized possessions when you knew you some human? What filled up your room and you always craved for more? I am sure you must have got the answer by now and the answer to all these is Toys. Toys are the dearest possession of the children and they love to have more and more every time when they see their friends playing with some which he or she does not have or when they spot something which is lying in the window of the toy shop. It seems that their demands for toys seem to never end and we keep on buying them whatever they ask for, the reason behind this is we love them and as soon as they are born, we vow to give them all the happiness in the world and we do so by completing all their needs but there is one thing which we tend to overlook when we are buying the load of toys for children (in Danish legetøj til børn) and that is we don’t check the utility of the toy or how the toy would help to develop the development of the child. We as smart parents have to make sure that we give the right kind of upbringing to your children and sometimes in the love factor, we tend to overlook the fact that what impact the toy has on the child. The toys at small age are made for nourishing the development processes in the child like for the infant to 6 to 8 months we have the teether which is meant for infants of that age because they are expecting the teeth to come and hence they want to put everything in their mouths. So next time when you go out to buy a toy for your child then make sure that you buy the right kind of toy and to know this all you have to do is find out the age group which is written on the toy and

There are many educational toys (in Danish pædagogisk legetøj) in the market to fulfill your child’s developmental requirement. Motor Toys and Institution Toys makes your Kids Smart You can virtually find robotic technology everywhere—from remote controls, to digital clocks, to vehicles, computers, manufacturing equipment, UAVs, the toys like AIBO, ASIMO and even your commonplace ATMs. To be deemed a true robot, a machine must be able to interface and interact with its user and surroundings and respond accordingly. Robotic technology is being extensively in motor toys nowadays. In the past, people thoroughly believed that there was a humanoid robotic race. Even in mythology we had the Greek god Hephaestus who said to have built automations to assist in the construction of temples. The Jews thought that clay golems could come alive and so did the Norse, about their clay giants. As early as the 4th century circa, the Greek mathematician Archytas claimed that he could make ‘the pigeon’, a steam powered bird—this was before Watt invented the steam engine. In the 9th century, war weapons were said to have utilized air and steam pressure to launch projectiles. When it comes to motor toys, robotic technology has greatly evolved. Take for example toy human robots, does one want them to look like actual humans or the typical nuts-bolts-and-rivets type model? It is seen that children prefer high tech robots but only if they look cool and resemble some kind of a fighting machine not a human. Gundam, transformers etc are good examples of what children want their institution toys or motor toys (in Danish motorisk legetøj) to look like.
  • 6. In recent times, if you are ready to dish out money then you can buy the three most recent types of robots—soft, swarm and haptic. Soft robots have a flexible endoskeleton and silicon body and resemble humans; swarm robots have multiple processors working in unison which gives them unprecedented computing power enabling them to interact better (like the Aibo) and finally the haptic robots which enable their users to interface with them on a virtual level. The power source has varied since the inception of robotic technology. Earlier automatons used air, water and steam; newer robots use DC motors, lithium batteries, air muscles, actuators and even hydrogen fuel cells. Robots have always been a thing of fascination for children. They make for great institution toys (in Danish institutionslegetøj) and help to inspire a feeling of interest in robotics and mechanics amongst the young minds. The robot Aibo for example will intrigue your child and urge him to find new ways to interact with the robot—this boosts creativity. The driving force behind making this puzzles for children (in Danish puslespil til børn) was to stimulate their sensory organs and help in their over all development. This toy comes in two different sizes namely big, small, and available in different colours as well to attract the attention of the children. Due to its bigger size, children can easily sit and spin on it, can wear it as a helmet, can also fill it with snow, sand and even water. The smaller ones comes as more handy to kids, they can take it while bathing and swimming, as it is waterproof and floats on water, it gives great pleasure to kids playing with it. Due to its multipurpose nature, it gives enough room for children to expand their imagination and use it according to their choice and mood.
