Let MEGA help make that a reality ! The MEGA project is an Industry-delivered innovation masterclass - next sessions running in Sydney and Melbourne this August-November one-evening per week. Aimed to give innovators tools, personal networks and mentoring - corporate teams, students and independent technologists and creatives who want to develop new products and companies. Mentoring is delivered via a structured 18 week program funded by government and corporate sponsors.
This presentation was given at the MEGA Info Seminar in Sydney, on the 8th July 2009 at the Telstra Experience Centre.

MEGA founded as ‘Mobile Enterprise Growth Alliance’ in Adelaide, South Australia as alliance between
industry, education and government sectors to transform the commercial prospects of mobile industry
2007 innovators, and create a new breed of student graduate.
1 city, 30 students, 10 mentors, 10 projects.
MEGA expands to Melbourne, Victoria and Sydney, New South Wales.
2008 3 cities, 90 students, 20 mentors, 20 projects
MEGA consolidates in Adelaide, Melbourne & Sydney. Looks overseas for further expansion.
2009 3 cities, 100 students, 30 mentors, 30 projects, plus short regional events.
MEGA now running in 3 cities in Australia, and 1-2 international territories.
2010 4 cities, 150 students, 50 mentors, 40 projects, plus short regional events.
Now in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide.

A. MEGA is for online, mobile, cross-media, green-IT
- indeed any innovative digital product-based idea.
Q. How can I stop people stealing my ideas ?
A. All participants and mentors have to sign a confidentiality
Deed Poll and you don’t have to “reveal all” to participate.
Q. What if I can’t attend all the sessions ?
A. Participation in MEGA is key - but some materials will be
placed in our online resource centre for just this situation.
