I have been a member of the Mooresville Band Program since 2006. Upon joining the band,
I stared on trombone and have been playing it ever since. I also joined the competitive 6A
Mooresville Pride in Motion Marching Band in 2009.

I have been an active member of the Presbyterian Youth Fellowship (PYF) for the past four
years.

My Teen leadership class was a sponsor of the 2011 Relay for Life event. We set up a booth
to help raise money for Relay for Life. We participated with walking around the track and
helping out at the booth.

I traveled with my youth group to Pittsburgh to help out with the Pittsburgh Project. The
Pittsburgh Project is a ministry in the heart of Pittsburgh that help out with rebuilding
houses for families that are under the pervert level and can not afford to maintain their
property otherwise.

I volunteered my time to help the Davidson college pep band play for the men’s and women’s
basketball games.

My school program allowed me to pick a job profession I would like to pursue. I spent a
whole semester learning about Physical Therapy by working at the front desk, shadowing a
physical therapist, and helping out where I was needed in the office.

I volunteered at Genesis nursing home working with residents by assisting in their daily
activities.
