3. Why the color(s)?
• Red represents being active and determined
well. I am active and determined.
• The red and black together represents
aggressiveness, which is what I was going for.
4. Why the shape(s)?
• I chose circles because they represent a track,
where I spend most of my time, and they
represent harmony which I enjoy.
6. Why the quote?
• This quote is my motto. Even when I feel like
giving up, I push through pain and agony in
order to reach a goal.
7. Why the picture?
• Pole vault is one thing right now that I am
really struggling with. When the quote is
paired with this picture, It really inspires me to
go out and get better at polevault.

• This font represents being strong and
powerful. Pole Vault is all about being both
physically and mentally strong. Without this
font, the quote would seem powerless and
out of place.

• The black font color really blended in with the
pole vaulter, making it seem as if the quote
was part of the picture. The orange contrasts
the light blue sky, making the most important
part of the quote stand out.
