Stationary IR systems for surveillance
and security applications
ICSM infrared cameras can be easily integrated
into existing CCD surveillance concepts and
are exceptionally well-suited for protecting
private property and residencies.
ICSM cameras are ideally suited for
continuous stationary surveillance of
larger areas over greater distances.

to the technology used in visual systems

often monitor a whole section or a much
larger area. There is also an additional
selection of lenses which is optionally
available. These lenses have been de-
signed especially to cater for special sit-
uations and requirements and because
all the cameras in the ICSM-Series are
equipped with standard interfaces for
video surveillance and power supply,
they can quickly be connected to any
monitor with a composite video signal
or mounted on walls, roofs or masts to
supplement an existing surveillance sys-
tem. These standard interfaces allow
the user to operate a low-cost surveil-
lance system that can monitor large
areas over greater distances and protect
individuals and goods against break-ins
or vandalism even in the pitch black or
adequate lighting is either not viable for
technical reasons or simply too expen-
sive in the long run.

The IP66-protected cameras in the ICSM-
Series are robust and ready to take on
the harshest and most hostile of envi-
ronmental conditions – the cameras
even have a built-in heating element de-
signed to protect the camera’s internal
components against drops in tempera-
ture of up to -35 °C.

Realtime monitoring and
surveillance with alarm
function via TCP/IP
The ICSM 380 RT and RTV were de-
veloped specifically for the active
safety monitoring of thermodynamic
processes.
The cameras differ from the standard
models in the ICSM-series in that they
are equipped with an additional function
which analyses specific temperature
ranges in real-time and automatically
generates an alarm when thresholds
which have been previously selected by
the user have been exceeded.
Flammable goods which are held in stor-
age like tyres, for example, or thermosen-
sitive machine components or facility ar-
eas can now be safety guarded and mon-
itored round the clock without lighting
and in complete darkness.
In addition to a fully-radiometric infrared
thermal imaging camera with an ex-
tremely high geometric resolution, the
system is equipped with a variety of
measuring and analysis functions – the
RTV model even has a separate visual
camera to ensure that optimum surveil-
lance and security is guaranteed in all
environments.
The robust, IP66-rated camera can also
be integrated into a motor-driven, re-
mote-controlled pan-tilt unit to provide
you with an extensive view of the area
you wish to monitor and survey.
The interfaces on the ICSM 380 RT and
RTV can be used to integrate the cam-
eras into existing analogue surveillance
and monitoring structures and also allow
them to be integrated into TCP/IP net-
works just as quickly and easily. This
means that the cameras can then be re-
mote-controlled from virtually anywhere
in the world providing there is an ade-
quate net connection. The alarm can
also be registered via TCP/IP via Intranet
or the Internet.

ICSM cameras are ideally suited for continuous stationary surveillance of larger areas over greater distances. The infrared technology used in the cam- eras in the ICSM-Series is far superior to the technology used in visual systems or systems that work with residual light. There is also an additional selection of lenses which is optionally available. These lenses have been de- signed especially to cater for special sit- uations and requirements and because all the cameras in the ICSM-Series are equipped with standard interfaces for video surveillance and power supply, they can quickly be connected to any monitor with a composite video signal or mounted on walls, roofs or masts to supplement an existing surveillance sys- tem. These standard interfaces allow the user to operate a low-cost surveil- lance system that can monitor large areas over greater distances and protect individuals and goods against break-ins or vandalism even in the pitch black or adequate lighting is either not viable for technical reasons or simply too expen- sive in the long run. in a variety of other situations where other systems still have to rely on resid- ual light to deliver conclusive results and meaningful images.A high detector res- olution of 640 x 480 pixels means that the cameras can present a detailed de- piction of the images they have captured and provide the system users with the information they need to detect potential hazards at an early stage in order to be able to take the necessary action. TEMPERATURE 21 Realtime monitoring and surveillance with alarm function via TCP/IP The ICSM 380 RT and RTV were de- veloped specifically for the active safety monitoring of thermodynamic processes. The cameras differ from the standard models in the ICSM-series in that they are equipped with an additional function which analyses specific temperature ranges in real-time and automatically generates an alarm when thresholds which have been previously selected by the user have been exceeded. Flammable goods which are held in stor- age like tyres, for example, or thermosen- sitive machine components or facility ar- eas can now be safety guarded and mon- itored round the clock without lighting and in complete darkness. In addition to a fully-radiometric infrared thermal imaging camera with an ex- tremely high geometric resolution, the system is equipped with a variety of measuring and analysis functions – the RTV model even has a separate visual camera to ensure that optimum surveil- lance and security is guaranteed in all environments. The robust, IP66-rated camera can also be integrated into a motor-driven, re- mote-controlled pan-tilt unit to provide you with an extensive view of the area you wish to monitor and survey. The interfaces on the ICSM 380 RT and RTV can be used to integrate the cam- eras into existing analogue surveillance and monitoring structures and also allow them to be integrated into TCP/IP net- works just as quickly and easily. This means that the cameras can then be re- mote-controlled from virtually anywhere in the world providing there is an ade- quate net connection. The alarm can also be registered via TCP/IP via Intranet or the Internet.
