The document describes two industrial videoscopes, the XL VuTM and XL GoTM. It summarizes their key features in 3 sentences or less:
The XL VuTM and XL GoTM are cable-less industrial videoscopes that provide excellent image quality and mobility for indirect visual inspections across various industrial applications. The XL GoTM has additional measuring functions and servo-powered articulation for navigating inspection sites. Both systems are compact, portable, and robust for harsh industrial environments.

XLVu™ and XLGo™ VideoProbe®
System
For indirect visual inspection and documentation
The XL Vu™ and the XL Go™ industrial videoscopes herald
the begin of a new era in the field of indirect visual inspections: no cable, no case,
no nothing – just excellent image quality in an amazingly robust, light and compact device.
Mobility in Perfection
Whether you need to scale a 100 m tall
mast to check the transmission system
of a wind turbine, ascend a heat ex-
changer in a refinery or crawl under a
turbo-fan motor to get to a test stand,
in all these cases a compact and
portable industry videoscope is an ab-
solute must.
The XL Vu™ and XL Go™ industrial
videoscopes succeed in marrying cable-
less operation with a variety of functions
that you normally only expect to find in
systems at least three times the size.
The videoscopes combine high mobility
with pin-sharp digital images into a sys-
tem which fulfills the test requirements
for a variety of different industrial appli-
cations.
In stark contrast to other video industrial
endoscopes, there is no cumbersome
base unit, no rucksack and no extension
cord to get in your way and stop you get-
ting on with your work – both the XLVu™
and the XL Go™ industrial videoscopes
provide you with unparalleled access to
the object or area you wish to inspect
while offering unmatched comfort and a
new sense of freedom of movement.
Exploration of the Third Kind
The XL Go™ is equipped with servo-
powered All-Way®
articulation which al-
lows the operator to navigate the robust
probe through a variety of different test
procedures, and a titanium camera head
that allows a 360° examination of the
inspection site. Two separate layers of
tungsten wire mesh guarantee a maxi-
mum of movement and give the quadru-
ple-walled borescope its torsion strength.
A three-stage warning system, including
an integrated sensor which constantly
monitors the temperature and immedi-
ately warns the user when temperatures
are too high, effectively reduces the risk
of damage to the camera head.

High performance
software with intelligent
menu navigation
In addition, the in-
tegrated data man-
ager also provides
the user with the
option to load data,
create files and either copy or show in-
dividual images.
You can add both
voice and text anno-
tations to any of the
measuring results
obtained using both
systems. The XL Go™ is additionally
equipped with a variety of measuring func-
tions which allow you to carry out shadow,
stereo and comparison measurements of
length, distance, depth, point-to-line, in-
clination, area, multi-segment length,
circle gauge and much more.
Yet despite having such a variety of func-
tions both systems are incredibly easy
to use thanks to the intuitive navigation
and a variety of optical aids on the dis-
play.
Perfect image quality
As you would hope,
the image quality
of the XL Go™
does not suffer at
the expense of the
videoscope’s heightened mobility and
compact-ness, because the powerful
LED light source and the brilliant VGA
LCD display provide just the sharp, crisp,
detailed images which testers need to
be able to perform their work dependably
and accurately.
Single still images or complete video se-
quences can be stored quickly and easily
in the internal flash memory or on the
portable USB thumb drive.
Robustness of a new kind
The polycarbonate shockproof housing is
tough enough to stand up to the most hos-
tile and harshest of conditions in industrial
environments and shock absorbing mate-
rials and seals at critical places prevent
damage caused by knocks and bumps
as well as stopping dust and water from
penetrating into the device – ideal for re-
liable use in everyday situations.
Both systems are
delivered in a robust
plastic case – ideal
for transport and
storage.
