“ ABOUT” YOUR CHADD GROUP CONTINUED Create a  with FrontPage . Keep those without Internet access in mind.  Local agencies use the information listed and share it with clients.  Provide them with as many details as possible to share with clients. Tell people how long it may be until you get back to them either by phone/email. Provide them with National Resource Center  contact information to reduce the inquiries for “nonmeeting & local support inquiries” Turn on the auto reply at chadd.net account providing details and information.

If you are working with your local parent to parent teacher to conduct parent to parent classes list them in the meetings and events.  You will be able to add additional details and registration forms to download in the mtg. and events section. Ask Trish for help with the link from the home page.
 
Include information about potential partnership opportunities and additional resources.
Have the disclaimer posted on the site.  Don’t forget to include it in your email messages too! Give people the opportunity register with CHADD so that their contact information is saved in the CHADD database.  You can then pull an email report from the CHADD site and send them meeting reminders and other information.  Please emphasize that CHADD does not share or sell any contact information with anyone!  Please share any requests to opt-out with Trish at the national office to be processed.

PROVIDE A LIST OF OPPORTUNITIES AND A WAY TO CONTACT YOU TO GET INVOLVED.
Perhaps you like to write and can do a monthly blog chronicling your experiences as a volunteer.  Sharing your experiences and feelings is a great outlet and recruiting tool.
 
Another option is to post volunteer positions on volunteermatch.com.  Not only will you get visitors from the CHADD Website, but people will find your listing on this site which is visited by thousands of people interested in volunteering every day.  The link will not take them to your listing, but provide them with a way to search.  Give them instructions on how to find your listings.
 
You can make things fun!  Make a “Menu” of Volunteer Opportunities and put a link to the document.  (Ask Trish for help)

Provide them with as many details as possible to share with clients. Tell people how long it may be until you get back to them either by phone/email. Provide them with National Resource Center contact information to reduce the inquiries for “nonmeeting & local support inquiries” Turn on the auto reply at chadd.net account providing details and information.

  • 18. Have the disclaimer posted on the site. Don’t forget to include it in your email messages too! Give people the opportunity register with CHADD so that their contact information is saved in the CHADD database. You can then pull an email report from the CHADD site and send them meeting reminders and other information. Please emphasize that CHADD does not share or sell any contact information with anyone! Please share any requests to opt-out with Trish at the national office to be processed.

Not only will you get visitors from the CHADD Website, but people will find your listing on this site which is visited by thousands of people interested in volunteering every day.
