This document provides a tour of the facilities at Sacred Heart school, including the multi-purpose room where assemblies are held, the cafeteria where students eat lunch and can purchase snacks, four 4th grade classrooms that each have about 20 students, the library where students check out books and magazines, the playground with equipment for different grades, the gym where PE classes and basketball games are held, the art room for weekly art classes, and the kindergarten area with 5 classes of about 15 students each.

1. Welcome to Sacred Heart (Literally) Welcome to Sacred Heart! We hope you enjoy the tour of our school!

2. This is the Multi-purpose room, which we call the MP room. We have assembly, occasional shows, and after school activities here. The MP room

3. This is the cafeteria, aka the dining room, where we eat lunch every day at school. After school we can also buy snacks at the café at the side of the cafeteria, where they sell sandwiches and cake. For lunch we can also order Hot Lunch. The Cafeteria

4. The Classrooms These are our 4 th grade classrooms. We have 2 classrooms in each grade. There are about 20 students in each class. The class names are colors; 1Pink, 1Red, 2Orange, 2Aqua, 3Purple, 3Blue, 4Green, and 4Yellow. When we aren’t in our specials rooms like the library, we learn in here.

5. The Library This is the library. We have magazines, playaways, videos, and cassettes here. Of course, we have books as well. Every week during school we have a library check-out day, when we can check-out 2 books and a magazine. Right now we are learning about the Dewy Decimal system.

6. This is the playground, the roof, and the breezeway. The roof is where 3 rd and 4 th graders play ball games. In the playground, there is a slide, swings, bars, and a balancing bean. We have all sorts of play equipment too. The kindergarten has a separate playground than the junior school. The Playground and breezeway

7. GO SYMBAS! This is our gym. We have our P.E. class here. Sometimes our school basketball team, the Symbas, have basketball tournaments here. GO SYMBAS! The Gym

8. The Artroom This is the JS art room. We have separate art rooms than the middle school. We have art classes once a week. Sometimes we have art competitions and we recently had some Christmas ones as well.

9. Kindergarten This is the kindergarten area. We have 5 kindergarten classes in all. There are about 15 kids in each class. They also have computer, art, music, and library classes like junior school. They also have an open area where sometimes they play.
