Students attending 4-year universities.
STEM and Business majors. But, still apply even if
you will study something else.
Students with the best grades.

3. TIPS FOR GETTING
SCHOLARHIPS
First, you must apply.
Apply to many different scholarships…but, only if you
qualify.
Pay attention to deadlines. Start your research as soon as
possible.
Essays (and applications) must be specifically tailored to
each application. Follow directions very carefully.
Proofread your application and essay. Have someone else
review it too.
Don’t be boring. Stand out!

4. TIPS FOR GETTING
SCHOLARHIPS
If a scholarship application requires you to pay
money…beware! Do not apply.
Create a resume focused on your strengths and
experiences. Proofread your resume!
Use a professional email address.
Be aware of your social media sites. Universities and
organizations may search your name.
Is an interview required? Practice, practice, practice!
