13. My Shadowing Experience My shadowing experience was at the Federal Express Junior Achievement conference at Dowling College. At this conference, I learned about the importance of communicating in a work place. We did exercises where we weren’t allowed to communicate with each other. Doing these exercises, I really was able to learn how difficult things can be without communicating with others. I also learned about teamwork. Without teamwork, you won’t get as far in life.
