            Establish ground rules
            Label agenda topics
                Status: to update or inform
                Decision: to make a decision or reach consensus
                Discussion: to plan, generate alternatives, examine
                 directions, or evaluate options.
            Plan to use a “parking lot”

            Have one
            Helps finalize attendee list
            Use it to record notes on decisions or discussions
            Can be used to keep track of assignments made
            Send notes soon after

             Assign important roles

Making Meetings More Interesting/Engaging
    Add The Fun Factor
      Add icebreakers or fun activities as agenda items
      Have someone act as an “fun” ambassador
      Have theme meetings
      Use existing holidays, celebrations or events as inspiration

    Mix It Up
       Reduce the number or declare “meeting free days”
       Occasionally toss out agendas and do something completely
        different (go to a museum, get ice cream, etc.)
       Change the scenery (have “walking” meetings, hold them in
        Coffman Union, etc.)

       Bring in guest speakers
       Look for other ways to give updates (role plays, skits, etc.)
