This document summarizes the sales of a notepad and pen gift pack. The product targeted office workers and students in Salt Lake Sector V as it would be useful. Customers were approached and told the products' proceeds would help an underprivileged workshop. Hearing this story and seeing the attractive packaging as a combo gift, customers readily accepted the product. The primary advantage was packaging everyday items of a notepad and pen together into a single gift.
3. ABOUT THE PRODUCT
The product which we chose was a simple notepad and a ballpoint
pen.
It’s a product which any office goer or student might seem useful.
The idea was to make it seem like a combo offer.
The ribbon was added to not only make it attractive but to make it
appear as a gift set.
4. OUR TARGET CUSTOMERS
We first started selling our products to the people in Saltlake
Sector V.
We targeted mainly office go-ers who did not seem to be in a
hurry, who had some time in their hands.
From Sector V we shifted our focus to our respective localities and
started selling the products to our relatives and friends as well.
5. MODUS OPERANDI
We approached the customers as B-school students telling them that
a workshop is being conducted in our institute and we had to raise
some money for the under privileged.
Hearing this proposition and the packaging of the product the
customers accepted the product at one go.
We received very little rejections
6. OUR PRIMARY USP was the
packaging of the product. Customers get spare diaries and
spare pens but very rarely they get both these two products
merged into one. The attractive packaging with the help of the
paper rose and the perception of buying a combo product
worked wonders.
