In earlier times, telecommunications involved the use of visual signals, such as beacons, smoke signals, semaphore telegraphs, signal flags, and optical heliographs, or audio messages via coded drumbeats, lung-blown horns, or sent by loud whistles, for example. A Web 2.0 site allows users to interact and collaborate with each other in a social media dialogue as creators (presumes) of user-generated content in a virtual community, in contrast to websites.<br />,[object Object],Bandwidth is the difference between the upper and lower frequencies in a contiguous set of frequencies. It is typically measured in hertz, and may sometimes refer to pass band bandwidth, sometimes to baseband bandwidth, depending on context.<br />Satellite communications<br />What is a satellite?<br />A satellite is an object that goes around, or orbits, a larger object, such as a planet.
