Day of Event
How are refunds handled during the event?
During the event, the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts will create a log
for the refunds and they will notify The K Foundation (TKF) when the list is complete.
TKF will work on processing all refunds on the log within the next 48 hours.
How does a donor get a copy of their receipt during the Event?
The Valley Gives site has a handy feature on it where a donor can simply enter their
email address and the receipt(s) will be resent. If the donor still did not receive them,
please contact CFWM with your name, email address, amount and organization(s) you
gave to and TKF will resend a receipt.
Post Event
When will nonprofits receive their checks?
Nonprofit checks will be distributed on or about the 15th of
the month following your event. Checks will be net of
refunds and associated transaction and event fees.
Prizes
 Valley Gives 2017 is offering a range of prizes. These prizes are provided by
the Community Foundation of Western Massachusetts (CFWM) to help
participating organization expand their donor base, increase their fundraising
and motivate donors to support organizations they care about.
 Some prizes will reward specific accomplishments. Other prizes will be
awarded at random and are available to organizations simply by participating
in Valley Gives. CFWM encourages your organization to select one or two prize
categories and promote those to your best ability.
