10. Value of Assignment
■ This was an assignment that took a lot of thought and time to complete. It was
hard to find the right entry level position and understanding what the position
actually is about but was a great learning experience. I learned how to identify
both technical and soft skills in different job descriptions. I also really understood
that a database refers to a set of related data and the way it is organized. What I
got out of this assignment is being able to test the waters on different entry-level
IT jobs and showed me how to be versatile mentally in searching for jobs and
actually understanding it. It is vital to understand computer software application
and its functions in the real world because you might come across this in the
future so I see why this assignment was so useful and why it was given. I feel
that I will revisit this project and make it better for years to come because this is
going to be some very useful information in the future.
