instruments of the symphony orchestra"
• Mention instruments that consist a symphony orchestra and how these instruments are
divided into groups.

Students are asked to think about and name the possible groups of musical instruments in a
symphony orchestra as well as the instruments that make up an orchestra.
3. Students learn about the instruments of the symphony orchestra using technology
(PPT, YouTube video). They are invited to confirm or reject their own assumptions
above.

Pupils listen to the sounds of different musical instruments and guess the instrument
and the group it belongs to. The student who gets the most correct answers, is the
winner.
5. Project: Students are divided into groups and tasked with presenting a musical instrument
using technology. If they themselves deal with a specific instrument, they should present
their own musical instrument. In their work they should incorporate videos of the children in
the group playing the musical instrument they are presenting. Assignments are presented to
the whole class in subsequent lessons. They evaluate their own work as well as their
classmate’s work.
