What’s Gunday ?
2 young boys Bikram(Ranveer) and Bala (Arjun), from Bangladesh, during partition
come to Kolkata
Common strife for identity, respect and survival builds a friendship so strong that
nothing can break it. Or can it ?
They become the biggest
Gunday (hooligans) of Kolkata.
In comes a cabaret dancer Nanditha (Priyanka Chopra) and both the boys fall head
over heels. Will the damsel break their friendship?
A ACP of Police Satyajeet Sarkar (Irrfan Khan) is brought in to reign the Gunday, but
why I wonder ? They are the Robin Hoods and have no enemies anymore
it appears.

Is it worth watching ?
Definitely !
Once, because it could have been so much
better. The director brings the age to life but
loses out on maximizing the actors and tries
o depend on twists and turns to make up for
it.
The tale focuses less on how they become
who they become except for a few incidents
in childhood
Ranveer Singh and Arjun Kapoor give it their
best. Ranveer is absolutely delightful to
watch. Priyanka looks hot but cannot do
much more. Irrfan is Irrfan, effortlessly so.
This is the kind of movies I remember
watching as a kid. Larger than life.
And yes, Priyanka looks hot !
