Description : The Project deals Model changes as per the requirements (SWRD) received from the client.
Requirements are received in DOORS and the development changes are performed in Simulink and Code is
generated using Embedded Coder. Requirements based testing is performed after the model changes for
verification. Model Advisor is run for checking any discrepancies in the model as per DO-178C predefined checks
and problem report is generated.
Role:
1. Model based changes in Simulink, Autocode Generation

Project #2 : Diagnostics Software Development for Adaptive Cruise Control.

Description : The concept of this project deals with Diagnostics of the CAN signals which ensures that vehicle
parameters (viz. vehicle speed, Brake pressure) which are received from the CAN bus (Read API module) are free
from any faults .This is done by a fault detection mechanism which deals with the Max-Age of the CAN signal
(specified in SWRS) before a fault is confirmed.
Role:
1. Involved in the Model changes for Diagnostics Software which ensures proper Fault detection.
2. Involved in Model changes for CAN Signal Pre-conditioning.
Project #3 : Fixed Point Scaling and SIL Testing for the EMS Software.

Description : EMS (Engine Management System) Software is supplied by the customer in the form of Target-
Link Models. This Project involves allocating the memory space for the variables and constants used in the
models, based on the surrounding logic of the entire system. Each variable holds a constant resolution with which
the suitable memory is allocated for the variable. Simulink and TargetLink modules are fed into Embedded Tester

3. and code coverage reports are generated. Regression Test report is analyzed for any discrepancies between and
SL and TL value.
Role : Scaling the variables and constants w.r.t their resolution as per the requirement
specification given by the client , generating the auto-code and Testing.
Project #4 : Unit level Testing (Manual Testing) for the application software.

outputs are compared and analyzed.
