2. A study to assess and evaluate the
knowledge and attitude of adults
towards mental health acts, laws and
rights of mentally ill patients with a
view to develop an information
booklet on “MENTAL HEALTH ACTS,
LAWS and RIGHTS of mentally ill
patients: TREATING MENTALLY ILL PATIENT WITH
RESPECT AND DIGNITY” in selected urban
community of Delhi.

• To assess the knowledge of adults about mental health acts, laws and rights of mentally ill
patients in selected urban community of Delhi.

• To assess the attitude of adults about mentally health acts, laws and rights of mentally ill patients
in selected urban community of Delhi.

• To find out the relationship between knowledge and attitude of adults towards mental health acts,
laws and mentally ill patients in selected urban community of Delhi.

• To find out the association of knowledge and attitude of adults towards mental health acts, laws and rights of
mentally ill patients in selected urban community of Delhi with selected factors like age, gender, education,
family income, family history of mentally ill patient in family.

• To develop the information booklet on ““MENTAL HEALTH ACTS, LAWS and RIGHTS of mentally ill
patients: treating mentally ill patient with respect and dignity” based on the identified needs.

management among caregivers of
mentally ill clients in a selected
hospital of Delhi with a view to
develop an information booklet on the
“Coping strategies for the caregivers of
mentally ill clients.

5. OBJECTIVES
(i)To assess the knowledge on home care management among caregivers of mentally ill clients.
(i)To assess the perceived challenges on home care management among caregivers of mentally
ill clients.
(i)To determine the correlation between the knowledge and perceived challenges on home care
management among caregivers of mentally ill clients.
To determine the association between:
a. knowledge on home care management and selected demographic variables of caregivers of mentally ill clients.
b. perceived challenges on home care management and selected demographic variables of caregivers of mentally ill clients.

6. A study to assess the
effectiveness of seminar on the
knowledge regarding the stress
and coping strategies in reduction
of academic stress among first
year of BSc(H) nursing students in
selected nursing schools of Delhi.

7. OBJECTIVES:
1.
• To assess the level of stress regarding the academic before the administration of seminar
among first year BSc(H) Nursing students.
2.
• To assess the knowledge of first year BSc(H) Nursing students regarding the effect of in
reduction of academic stress after the administration of seminar.
3.
• To evaluate the effectiveness of seminar by comparing the pre-test and post-test
knowledge scores regarding the effect of coping strategies in reduction of academic stress
4.
• To find out the association between pre- test knowledge scores with selected demographic variables
of first year BSc(H) Nursing students in selected nursing schools of Delhi.

8. A study to assess and evaluate the
effectiveness of seminar programme
(SP) on knowledge of engineering
college students regarding drug
addiction in selected engineering
colleges at Delhi.

• To assess the knowledge of engineering college students regarding drug addiction before
administering the seminar programme.

• To develop and administer seminar programme on drug addiction.
3.
• To assess the knowledge of engineering college students regarding drug
addiction after administering the seminar programme.

• To evaluate the effectiveness of seminar programme to engineering college
students regarding the knowledge about drug addiction.
5.
• To examine association between the level of knowledge and selected socio-
demographic variables of engineering college students towards drug addiction.
