of timely adequate equipment upgrades that

5. Take for instance that we stormed to Baghdad in
19 days, that we did it in un-armored Humvees
that were painted green vice the tan fully
armored versions that would come years later
and provide slightly better camouflage in a
desert.
Marines, Sailors, Soldiers and Airmen have it as a
way of life to take whatever it is they have and
make it into whatever it is that needs to be
accomplished, this mindset is a valuable asset to
any company looking to breathe a resilient
attitude into their recession-to-recovery strategy.

6. As information moves faster and faster in today's
world via the internet, phones and an ever
growing list of new technologies, apps and social
media, many companies are wondering how
they can maintain an individual mindset for their

unexpectedly and having to go from zero to fully
mindful of a complex situation within only
minutes.

as the current economic situation continues to

adaptability whether it be ever changing military
upgrades requiring training and re-training on
new technology, equipment or practices,
the ability for Veterans to move to a new location
every 2-3 years with remarkable ease or the rapid
deployments that many have done in which they
were given sometimes only two weeks to get their
whole lives ready for a 7-12 month tour.

11. The main take away is that your team could use an
individual who has been highly trained as a task-
oriented and disciplined worker with the flexibility and
adaptability to shift gears at a moment's notice and
be actively engaged in a different direction as
needed only sentences later.
Veterans are the best untapped resource that this

economic recovery as was seen post-WWII, but also
to shape innovation and growth in a number of high
tech and green sectors looking for the tipping point.
