Points to ponder: 
 The / e/sound is the mid front vowel to produce the 
sound ,the jaw is lowered a little while the tongue is 
raised halfway towards the roof of the mouth. The tip 
of the tongue slightly touches the lower front teeth. 
 The /i/ sound is the high front lax vowel . To produced 
the sound , the jaw and the tongue are relaxed . The tip 
of the tongue slightly touches the lower front teeth .
