Victor Olerskiy, born in 1965, has worked in the shipping industry since 1987, beginning with a role as engineer at the Baltic Shipping Company upon completing his degree in Radio Engineering. He has since held several prestigious roles, served on several Boards of Directors, and between 2009 and 2018, worked as the Russian Federation’s Deputy Minister of Transport. Olerskiy has been presented with an ‘Order of Honour’ state medal and a medal for distinguished services in maritime activities.
