INTRODUCTION
5G Technology: 5th generation mobile networks or 5th
generation wireless systems.
Can be called “REAL Wireless Web” providing 1Gbps
connectivity speed.
The 5th wireless mobile internet networks are real wireless
world which shall be supported by LAS-CDMA,
OFDM,MCCDMA, UWB, Network-LMDS and IPv6.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Objective of 5G
5G being developed to accommodate QoS rate
requirement set by further development of existing 4G
applications.
Flexible channel bandwidth between 5 and 20 MHz,
optionally up to 40 MHz.
Data rate of at list 1Gbps between any two point in the
world.
Increase system spectral efficiency of up to 3bit/s/Hz/ cell
in the downlink and 2.25 bits/s/Hz/cell for indoor usage.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Features of 5G
High resolution for crazy cell
phone users.
Less traffic
Enhanced & available
connectivity just about the world.
Uploading and downloading
speed of 5G touching the peak
(above 1 Gbps).
25 Mbps connectivity speed

Evolution Of 5GCreated
0G Mobile
0G Technology was introduced in 1945.
Mobile telephone service based on “HANDOVER”.
Loggers, Construction foremen, Realters & Celebrities.They
used for the basic voice communication.
Technology used
PTS(Push To Talk)
MTS(Mobile Telephone System)
IMTS(Improved MTS)
AMTS(Advanced MTS)
Public Land Mobile Telephony
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
1st Generation
Introduced in 1980 based on analog system.
Frequency range of 150MHz.
Speed upto 2.4kbps.
It uses FDMA Technique.
1G Standards are
NMT(Nordic Mobile Telephone)
AMPS(Advanced Mobile Phone System)
It has low capacity, unrelliable handsoff, poor voice link
and no secuirity at all since voice call were played back in
Radio Tower.
These calls susceptible to unwanted eavesdropping by third
parties.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
 Allow user to make call in single country.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
2nd Generation
Appeared in 1990s along with the first digital mobile
network.
Mainly used for voice communication & support speed
upto 64kbps.
2G GSM network operating in the 900MHz or 1800MHz.
Other 850 MHz or 1900 MHz bands were used instead (e.g.
in Canada & United state).
Offered additional services as SMS & e-mail.
Major prominent technologies are GSM,CDMA & IS95.
Uses Digital modulation schemes as TDMA & CDMA.
Also provide international Roaming for calling.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
The digital systems were designed to emit less radio
power from the handsets.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
3rd Generation
Evolution of GSM networks to 3G
occurred with the introduction of GPRS.
Come to view in 2001 in Japan.
It provide speed up to 2mbps in static and
384kbps while moving & sevices for video
calling, MMS etc beyond of 2G.
3G covering a range of future wireless
network technologies, including WCDMA,
CDMA2000, UMTS and EDGE.
Frequecy band 1.8-2.5GHz and bandwidth
of 5-20MHz.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
4th Generation
The fourth generation of wireless standards
for cellular systems is 4G availabled around
2011 .
The ITU (International Telecommunications
Union) specified peak speed requirements for
the 4G standard are to be 100Mbps.
Combination of Wi-Fi & Wi-max offers the
techniques like SDR,OFDM and MIMO.
Frequency band 2-8GHz and bandwidth of
100 MHz.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Provide
Ultra high speed internet access,
high capacity and low cost per bit
Multiple User Video conferencing
Location-based services
HD Video & Video games on
demand
Tele-medicine

Comparison to latest technology
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Hardware & Software of 5G
Hardware
• Uses ultra wide band
network with higher
bandwidth at low energy
level.
• Bandwidth is of 400 Mbps,
which is 400 times faster
than todays wireless
networks.
• Uses smart antenna
Software
• 5G will be single unified
standard of different
wireless networks ,including
LAN
technologies,LAN/WAN,WW
WW-World wide wireless
web,unified IP & seamless
combination of broadband.
• Software defined
radio,encryption,flexibility,A
nti-virus.

Internet Protocol ver.6
The Internet Protocol (IP) is the method or protocol which
data is sent from one computer to another on the internet.
IPv6 extend the IP address space enough to offer a unique
address to any device
IPv6 increases the IP addresses size from 32 bit to 128 bits,
which is 4 times more than 32bits IP address in IPv4.
IPv6 support large number of wireless enabled devices
IPv6 improve support for IP Mobility.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Advantage
 Lower battery consumption.
 More secure; better cognitive radio/SDR Security
 World Wide Wireless Web (WWWW) that include full
multimedia capability beyond 4G speeds.
 Possible to1Gbps and higher data rate in mobility.
 Improved and innovative data coding and modulation
techniques.
 Higher system level spectral efficiency.
 5G devices are comparatively less expensive than 3G and 4G
devices
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Cont…
Files can be downloaded & uploaded (even movies) within
seconds.
Can play easily online games.
Finest Quality of Service (QoS).
Easily support previous generations as gathered on platform.
Ability to support the new services
Mobile get cleaned itself and get fixed by its own.
Get charged by its own when its idle.
By Nano technology we can use desire way life style

Application
One can know weather, temperature, and location etc.
of each other when conversation is going on.
 Possible to monitor any place of the world from
anywhere.
It could be possible to visualize lively all the planets
and the Universe.
One can complete his/her works (e.g. Students or
doctors) without going to the office.
One can be able to locate his/her child when she/he is
unfortunately missed.
One can be able to predict tsunami/earthquake before
it occurs.
Created by- VIJAY KUMAR SINGHAL
Future Scope
 5G i-phone.
 Wearable devices with artificial
intelligence capabilities.
5G technology will provide supper
and perfect utilization of cellular
communication in future .
Reliable to use & effective cost ,a
promising Generation.
Monitor any place of the world
from anywhere, observe space and
watch TV channels at HD clarity in
our mobile phones without any
interruption
