1 . Project Name: - 3G-MMSC
Client: - Comverse
Description : project is based on 3GPP MMSC architecture, send a mms message from one
handset to another handset in between protocols used, message routing, packets all such things comes.
RELAY/SERVER is a core component of MMSC and which uses a services of Different supporting
components such as SMSC, PRP, Data storage Unit, CDRPP(billing), ADR, OMAP (Customer Care app),
OTP, CONTENT ADAPTATION, PREPAID, HLR, VAS and others. Every component has its own functions in
Order to support relay to send message (SMS or MMS) from one handset to another handset whether
the handset is foreign or local. MCC is a web application for MMSC customer care to create update and
delete the subscriber’s records.
Simulators and Interfaces: MM1, MM3, MM4, MM7, is main interfaces used to send message to local,
email domain, foreign or vas subscribers. With use of simulators all interface simulators and SMSC
simulators we send a message to all different type of subscribers for testing purpose.
