Introduction :-
Industrial Relation Means relation between labourers and
management or the term industrial relation is used to express
the relation between trade unions and employers organization.
These relation cannot came into being without the existence of
employers “class and labourers “ class. Thus , the existence of
industrial relation is not possible without an industrial institute
or organisation
John T. Dunlop defines industrial relation in these words ,
“Industrail Relation is the complex of inter- relation between
workers , managers and state.”

iv.To raise production capacity ,
v. To establish industrial democracy ,

i. To Establish Healthy Labour – Management Relation

Scope of IR :-
i. Public Relation
ii. Labour Relation
iii. Recruitment , selecton and Placement of labourers
iv. Provision of traning and education programme
v. Preparing report on performance evaluation and ability evaluation
vi. To Provides medical and health services
vii.To conduct survey on the attitude of the employees
viii.To complete record of the employment of the employees
ix. To Prepare and enforce plan regarding compensation and
evaluation of industrial work performance etc.
i. Management and labourers should have Positive approach towards each other.
ii. Both the parties to industrial relation should have free and frank bilateral communication.
iii. Employers should be enthusiastic about labour welfare activities and plans relating to them .
Rather they should take initiatives in enforcing the same.
iv. Employers should adopt a policy by virtue of which labourers and employers should get
equal .
v. Employers should make necessary arrangement to impart training and education to the
labourers at all level.
vi. Emphasis should be laid on establishing good human relation at all level of the factory.

Introduction :- Industrial Relation Means relation between labourers and management or the term industrial relation is used to express the relation between trade unions and employers organization.
