Founded in 1904, Port Morris Tile and Marble has provided quality materials and craftsmanship for some of New York City’s most impressive architectural achievements of the 20th century. Beginning with projects at the Plaza Hotel and the Empire State Building, the company went on to beautify the Pan Am, General Motors, and Time & Life buildings, as well as the John F. Kennedy Airport, with their skillful use of marble and tile. The company also worked on a variety of projects for famous architects such as I.M. Pei and Edward Durrel Stone.
