Preferences and Pain Points
Vinish Garg | @vingar @ContentHug
John is a content strategist who lives in North Carolina. Almost every day, he tries to find latest and relevant content online, on LinkedIn, Medium, email subscriptions in mailbox, or via content curation tools.
John finds it difficult and time consuming because there are too many different information sources. The curation tools show a few irrelevant posts too because these are curated automatically such as by a #hashtag! And, there is a huge mailbox as well!
Alltop and contentcontent populate content automatically (RSS?), and these are not comprehensive enough. Two, the architecture is not smart enough to facilitate search such as buy tags or metadata. ContentHug addresses these pain points.
Sarah’s map shows the community across regions, and it is only for technical writers. The ‘content strategists + marketers’ community is even bigger and hence the opportunity to target it.
