Job Profile
1. Implementation of applicable Safety measures as per the Legal rules and
regulations like OSHAS 18001.
2. Conduct training and seminars for awareness of the Safety norms.
3. Reconciliation and revision of Safety activities within the plant premises as
well as for project sites also.
4. Carry out routine/daily safety inspection.
5. Conduct safety induction training for new employees and toolbox talk,
safety meeting for engineers, supervisors and workmen.
6. Carry out internal safety audit.
7.To prepare and review safety guidelines for activities like working at height,
night working, crane safety, rigging jobs, material handling, electrical safety,
scaffolding, welding, gas cutting and higher elevation jobs.
8. Prepare and review JSA for all types of activities.
9. Investigation of all accidents, near misses and recommend appropriate
corrective actions to avoid re-occurrence..
10. Daily Safety Communication to all staff through mail, notice board etc.
